Good morning.

Sunny and warm. 8-) 8-)

We had the most fabulous time in Nerja. :P :P

The hotel was run by a lovely couple and they had a 5 year old son who was utterly delightful and I immediately wanted to adopt him.
Mum was Russian, dad was French and they both spoke perfect English and Spanish.
Dominic was fluent in all those languages too.
I bought him a wee treat of a Kinder egg and he very politely said thank you in each language. :D

I'm aiming for a very lazy day reading in the garden......I think I'll have a swim. :cute:

GB Menu & Masterchef tonight. :D

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Ally, I think it's always amazing just how easily kids pick up languages and good on the parents to encourage that quad-lingualism; that's fantastic!

Well I've had a busy(ish) few days pootling in the garden and greenhouse and just trying to get on top of the winter mess. Managed to give away a few things that have been cluttering up the area, things that I really actually don't need but just can't bear throwing away - so always good if someone else has use for it.

Today chicken lock-down has come to an end - because of Avian Influenza the girls have had to be kept under a roof of sorts, which means limiting the space they had to run around with so I could create some sort of cover with a gazebo. So as of this morning they have access to their entire back area again which sort of doubles the area for them. I need to pop out in a bit and then when I get home I can dismantle the gazebo - yay!!!!

Just been to put the bins out and wowzer, a very nippy wind out there - brrrr. Fingers crossed it warms up a bit during the day. I know the Easter weekend is meant to be very cold again :(

Well have a lovely day everyone, as always vibes for those that need them

stay safe x

Morning everyone

Cloudy but warm and will be wet :Hi: :Hi: We had some rain about an hour ago, the forecasts say rain from 10.00am. The sun is out at the moment though 8-)

Washing machine on, Gladys sprung a leak and as I was asleep, didn't notice  so I now have to try and clean the mattress too

Not sure what we'll be doing, not a lot in my case

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning from the car park of Home Bargains in Wakefield. Talk about a change in the weather!! It's blinking cold.
Glad you enjoyed Nerja Ally. Cruiser it's 40 years this month since me and Mrs C met. Where does the time go?
Nothing much doing here either Jan. Hi Ria!
Have a good one everybody.

Morning all, it’s much cooler here today and very grey and breezy.

I’ve already walked over eight miles what with Bill’s walk first thing and then a walk down to Home Bargains and back.

Crommers, we’re not far behind you. It’s 37 years this month since I first met John, although he was going out with my friend at the time and he was at the local under 18s disco with her  I think they broke up a week later and we met again in the September at a party.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all it's dull and dreary here it was 22yesterday and now it's down to single figures at night
Supposed to be like it all weekend
After seeing all the rubbish in the park's and beaches visitors leave behind I hope they stay away it's really heart breaking to see it all by for now

Morning all :D

Nice and bright, but a tad windy, definitely a few degrees lower than the last few days.

Ally glad you had a lovely time in Nerja.
Good luck with your second jab Cruiser.
I think a lot of people here will be happy if the weather keeps the visitors away Saundra, the mess they leave is truly disgusting.

We had a lovely walk along the cliff top yesterday, I chose to drive over to West Cliff on the other side of the harbour, it's nice and flat and the path is really wide. Good choice as E actually managed more than he's done so far. Of course it does pull a bit, but absolutely no pain, he's doing really well :D :D We'll probably try the East Cliff today, it's much closer to home and I need to be back here for a Sainsbury's delivery.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all :)

Ally I'm glad Nerja was lovely, and the little boy sounds a real poppet :D xx

Ria, your chickens are coming out of shielding on the same day as D officially does :D  xx

Hope that can be sorted Jan ((x)) xx

(((((Cruiser))))) xx

Blinking cold here too Crommers! xx

Jo, I thought we were getting a bit of gossip there! :P ;) xxx

Saundra, the rubbish people leave behind is disgusting :( Even if they can't find a bin, what stops them from taking it home?. xxx

Jen that walk sounds lovely, I'm glad E is doing so well :) xxx

Usual Thursday here, so Sainsbury's with D, although B joined us today as she's on lieu day for working an extra Saturday, and she wanted some toiletries and to collect a prescription from their pharmacy. Before all that I ran the hoover and steamer around downstairs and gave the kitchen a once over :) Just had a bite of lunch, now putting my feet up, although I might do a bit of weeding this afternoon, so the garden looks nice for Easter 8-)

Take care everyone :) xxx

Well that was a tad bracing, the wind's so icy my ears nearly fell off :o If it stays like this all weekend I'll need to wear my earmuffs.
