No run today but I'll have a swim mid morning.

Morning Cruiser, Ally and everyone

Sunny, misty and a little cool at the moment.

I've overdone the stomping and will now have to do gentle walks  Still doing just over a mile around the house, just doing it slower

Washing machine on and that's about it for me today.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s sunny and quite cold again but if like yesterday it’ll warm up again as the day goes on.

We’re off for a walk on Hednesford Hills with Bill shortly, that’s his favourite place to go judging by his reaction when we mention it so it’s a Saturday treat

Went to the new designer outlet in town last night with Joe. It’s huge, and with the sun shining and the blue sky it didn’t feel like being in the Midlands. I could easily have been convinced that I was at one of the outlets in Florida. Joe got some bargain tops from Under Armour and I’m still shaking my head in disbelief at how much I’ve been paying over the years for Yankee Candle products when they’re so cheap from their outlet stores  For instance, at Christmas I often put the small seasonal Yankee Candles with a few presents as a little extra and last year was paying around £8-£9 each. They’re 3 for £11 in the shop!
The biggest queue that we saw, and it was big, was outside the Haribo shop  There wasn’t one outside of Lindt but my willpower was strong.

Have a good day all :)

Sunny outside this morning, but not sure how cold it is; the temperature certainly dipped last night.

We have received letters today giving our call-up times for our second AZ jabs. Interestingly, the attendance times quoted were printed down to the second  ! We're usually a bit more laid back than that in Dorset!

Ossie is hoping to attend his first post-lockdown footie game this afternoon, all other things being equal. Anything to avoid the wall-to-wall coverage of the HRH funeral - and it will be nice to get a bit of fresh air, TBH.

Enjoy your day, all!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Gosh you were an early bird Cruiser.
Enjoy dinner out Ally.
Good to take it easy Jan.
Jo I love Lindt chocs, hats off to you.
Enjoy the footie Ossie.

So nice to get our house back to normal now the hospital bed has gone. Interesting chat with the men who collected it, we were told we had to wait so long for a date because pick ups couldn't be carried on the same lorry as beds to be delivered for Covid hygiene reasons. Wrong, they were doing both yesterday, apparently the company just say that to cover themselves. Yes it will be sanitised, but it's quite likely to get sent out again on a lorry with collections, hmm not so impressed.

I've set the box to record the funeral so we can catch up when we get back from our walk.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, another lovely day here although there is still a nip in the breeze. We went out around 10.30 for a walk and the place was already heaving with the car parks mostly full. We went to the hardware shop and then up to the old golf course, where it was nice and quiet. I’ve trimmed Edward’s hair so it looks much tidier - mine is a lost cause :? There are hints that our hairdressers might open up mid-May. Edward is watching football and flicking back and forward to Windsor, once the footie is over, we’ll watch it all. We go between the BBC (so obsequious  ) and Sky, who don’t know when to stop talking and just let us watch while giving us simple information. The weather there is glorious. I’m pleased to see that our flag is hanging at half mast over Government Buildings in Dublin today.

Good afternoon all.
Another sunny but cold day here.
MrsC is watching the funeral on TV. I told her earlier that it had been brought forward because Prince Philip had wanted the Royal Family to be able to get back and watch the football on Sky. She believed me, for a couple of seconds.
We had a lovely time at Eliza's birthday party yesterday.
Son in law's parents have bought a new caravan at £20,000+.
Apparently they were lucky to get it, because since foreign travel has become difficult caravan sales have gone through the roof.
Enjoy the walk Jen and take it steady Jan. Jo, what willpower! Yes Osc the Beeb certainly are somewhat obsequious. What a glorious day the weather has provided for it though.
Have a good day all.

Evening everyone :)

Corretto's was open for outside customers so we were down there early for brunch :D The shops in the outlet were open - B wanted a new pair of trainers to replace her old white ones, but they didn't have her size. We watched The Funeral round at D's - HM looked rather frail, which is to be expected of course :( Poor lady :( Not been home long.

No that's remarkable restraint, B had to drag me last the Liner in our outlet today :P ;) Glad you enjoyed your first look round there :D

Love to all xxx
