Thinking about Gal's cancelled holiday....

its the inconsistency that really annoys me now. Gal lost her holiday because she was staying in an apartment with a shared front door. Now I am pretty certain most people would be more than willing to wipe over a door handle if it meant they could get a holiday, people are just grateful for a holiday. But no this is not allowed. What is allowed though is to enter a pub, to use the toilet. Now I am not sure I trust the general public to wash their hands, let alone a door handle, in normal times let alone covid, but thats ok. Covid obviously only bothers apartment doors, not pub doors.

Same as my holiday cottage has told us they will be removing all soft furnishing, cushions, throws, books, holiday literature and games. But pubs are happy to put a nice warm throw out for you to keep you warm whilst you sit outside. Personally I would never entertain snuggling up under a throw in a pub garden. Are you telling me those throws are washed every night? But the holiday cottage ones would be clean every week I would imagine, but no thats not allowed. Again, covid only bothers nice clean throws in a holiday let, multiple use in a pub garden? Covid is not interested.

I'm confused?????

Yes, the inconsistency is so frustrating. Over here, children have been away from their sports for over four months, it was being done in pods of 15 with strict attention to sanitising etc., due to recommence next week. However, playgrounds have remained open with children running around touching everything, no sanitising at all, and parents standing around chatting, pushing children on swings etc. I cannot understand the logic at all.

I just think it's useless all this lockdown down rules of only been out once in all the time
Yet our beach and many more places are packed
It was never more obvious at the royal funeral and the Queen on her own while people every where are allowed there freedom drink and shop
It's a complete farce IMO

The inconsistencies are really confusing, there doesn't seem to be much logic to it all :?

There are so many inconsistencies it's unreal.
Hopefully we will be seeing the back of lockdown soon. If they bring it back for the winter I think there will start to be more unrest and demos.
