Postby Ally » 22 Apr 2021, 05:19

Good morning.

Jeez this week has flown by again! :o

Forecast 27 degrees and sunny. 8-)

Usual 2 classes this morning...can't believe there's only 8 weeks left of the term then we break up.

Meeting my friend for a bacon and cheese pitufo and coffee. :D

Work 4 - 7 then meeting Don for a couple of beers and a bite to eat.

Home for GB Menu and the second part of Bent Coppers on iplayer. Very interesting!

Have a good day.

Kaz...I hope D has a lovely day. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Warm, just been outside to put the cushions out after last nights rain and it's really warm already 8-)

No rain today, but more tomorrow, apparently. Never had this much rain in April before  But as long as it's stays warm, no problem

Bit of a tidy up this morning and clean the bathrooms, then pick peas and beans. Some for friends, some for us.

The friends are coming up this afternoon for a chat and beer/wine, so being canny, I took out some food from the freezer yesterday for tonight ;)

Hope D has a lovely time :Hi:

Have a lovely day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,

It is going to get warm. The sun is out but I needed a coat on walking for the paper.
Doing ironing and other housework as I was out most of yesterday. Didn't get home nearly nearly 6.00 p.m.

A joiner is coming as I want a new door on the cabinet over the electrical consumer unit. He wants to see what is involved before giving me a price.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone :)

Thanks Ally and Jan, D asked me to go up there too, so I'll be popping in at some point. Can't wait to see little Poppy - and her parents too, of course.

Morning Cruiser, I hope the joiner gives you a good price 8-) :)

Slightly worrying, Fraggle isn't well so B wants M to drop him in at the vets at some point today - he isn't eating and was very reluctant to go for a walk, and he seems a bit wobbly on one back leg :? ;) Hope he'll be ok :(

Take care everyone xxx

Morning all it's. a beautiful day with no wind
Have to water the tubs and haven't done that since last year I have to use a watering can which annoys me as I have a tap in the front of the house and can't put a hose pipe to the back garden
Enjoy seeing the family kaz and hope frazzle is ok
By for now everyone

Morning all

Ally and Jan, enjoy that warmth for us - we have lovely sunny days but the mornings are still so so cold.
Kaz, fingers crossed for Fraggle, hope he's OK - gentle fusses for him. And hope D has the most amazing day - and you as well of course; it'll be lovely seeing them all x
Cruiser; you're certainly keeping yourself busy - that's good. Hope the joiner can do what you want at a reasonable price
Saundra, is there no way you can run a long hosepipe around the side of the house so you can get to the back?

Well a usual usual for me - need to repot some seedlings so will do that this morning. The usual noon office call and then taking a friend for her 2nd Covid Jab this evening. It's quite a distance and she doesn't drive

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s sunny and frosty but 17°C is forecast for later.

We’ve walked Bill, there’s one load of washing out drying, another in the machine and I’m just back fro a run.

Went to Sainsbury’s (a rare event as it’s out of town and not somewhere we pass often) and finally got a gas bottle for the Soda Stream. I always do the exchange that they offer but for months now they’ve not been offering that in stores and I don’t want to pay an extra £10 for a full bottle and then have empty canisters hanging around so I’ve been buying the 17p bottles of sparkling water instead but that’s not very environmentally friendly. Could’ve purchased and exchanged directly from the company but their customer service and speed/lack of delivery gets a bit of a slating online. Anyway, sorted now.

Kaz, I hope all’s well with Fraggle (((Kaz)))

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, it’s a lovely sunny morning here. Thursday is MichaelandKellie day so I’ll do a tidy round and maybe some gentle dusting this morning. Kaz, have a lovely time with the family and I hope Fraggle will be ok.

Morning all :D

Bright, sunny and a bit windy here.

We've been watching Bent Coppers Ally, very interesting.
Hope you get a good price from the joiner Cruiser.
Kaz I hope Fraggle is okay and it's nothing to worry about.

I'm so pleased to have my hair done, the ends were in awful condition. I let her chop off a bit more than usual just to get rid of them. I've popped a casserole in the slow cooker for dinner tonight. Expecting Sainsbury's this afternoon, afterwards we'll get out for our walk.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Thanks everyone.
