When did you last have a bath?

I think mine might have been in 1971 just before I joined the RAF!!!

It is not that I am caked in gunge as I take regular hot showers using plenty of (bar) soap and a scrubbing sponge. It is just that the idea of lounging in a bath has no appeal whatsoever.

The ex used to spend ages in there with a book and a radio.... she would then rinse herself under the shower to get the "dirty" water off. I mean....

I just know that some of you will do the same!

Like you WM, it was years ago, much prefer to have a shower and back when the children were younger much quicker too.

At least 15 years ago. In our old house, we had a lovely original roll top bath, and when we remodelled the bathroom, we had it resprayed, never had a bath after that as the remodelling included a freestanding shower. We do not have a bath in either of the bathrooms in this house.

Daily shower here, twice in really hot weather. When did I last have a bath? :?: Put it this way, we've been in our current house for nine years and I have never used the bath

Must be 20 years, in our old house. Then we had a shower installed and that was it.

I can tell you the date.
15th November 2015.

Me and Joe had been to a match, it’s was raining heavily and I was soaked and chilled to the bone so decided to have a bath once home (I can remember the date because it was the day after the terrorist attacks in Paris).

No chance of doing that now as we’ve had the bath removed and replaced with a walk-in shower in the main bathroom. None of us were using the bath so just before Tom started his PGCE and Joe started his job we had the work done, otherwise they’d have been fighting to get into out en-suite for the shower from 6am every morning.

I never got the appeal of lying in the bath for hours.

Several years ago. My wife used to take a book and a mug of coffee when she had a bath. Stopped having baths when she found it difficult getting in and out.

We have a seperate shower and I stopped having bayhs before Audrey.

Blimey and I wonder why so many holiday lets no longer have baths? I last had a bath an hour ago, I have a bath every night, I read my book, soak in some lovely bubbles and look forward to it immensely. When we stayed in Kent, I decided it was May, I would be fine without a bath. I was frozen and all I wanted was a nice hot bubbly bath. Never again, but it is getting harder and certainly in smaller holiday lets almost impossible to get a bath.

I have a shower in the morning

I usually have a bath about once a week; a scalding-hot long soak with plenty of bubbles
Although I am finding it a bit difficult to get in and out these days.
We do have a shower in an ensuite but it's very pokey, and being a rather large Ostrich, I've never used it

Could’ve written this myself Shell, it’s my go to way to relax after a stressful day..... or a means to get warm in cold weather, I love a bath and would see the lack of one as a deal breaker if buying a house.
