Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool in the breeze, but it will warm up later. Must have been cold last night, Molly stayed in all night

Woke up at what I thought was 8.00, only to find it was almost half past  Think I need to change the batteries in my clock ;)

Hope Don's second jab doesn't bother him Ally x A friend had a pretty bad reaction to hers and spent two days in bed  We were both fine though.

Hot boiled egg rolls for Grumpy and the rest will be cold for tonight's salad.

I have the ironing to finish off and then not a lot.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Al and all, it’s another dull one.

Bill’s had his walk. We came across some workmen who were looking in vain for a large metal blue pipe which sticks a foot out of the ground to release underground gases (there’s probably a proper name for it  ) and all they’d been told was that it was somewhere on the common. It’s a vast area, talk about looking for a needle in a haystack!!). Well, they picked the right person to ask as I’m walking around there up to three times a day and I knew exactly what they were looking for and was able to direct them to it  We walked past them on the way home and they were replacing it as the old one had been set light to :?

Have a good day all :D

Good morning everybody.
The sun is trying to come out.
Kithen fitter arrived early. Said he had come a different way to miss road works. He will finish the tiling today and put the bottom panels on.

Managed to talk to my grand-daughter last night. She is working full time. But she said she has joined a symphony orchestra as the lead second violin.
She has done two practice sessions and they are doing a concert on Sunday. She will send me a recording.
She will be going home next week-end as she is still teaching children to play the violin. She got a degree in music when she went to uni.

Now just pootling

My hairdresser had to cancel my noon appointment but has rearranged it for the same time tomorrow.

Don's just left to walk in for his second jab...just as we've been alerted to a yellow weather warning.

I'm looking clothes out for me to wear and can't get my head round packing warmer clothes.

But as I love a wee cardie I'm happy to pack a few of them.

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny today 8-)

We were very lucky yesterday, it was raining steadily while we were getting ready to go out, but stopped just before we left the house. Stayed dry until we got home, result. Couldn't resist popping upstairs in M&S to have a coffee, it was very quiet and did seem a bit strange, but nice to be doing another 'normal' thing again :D

Our Grumpy Gardner stuff has arrived so if it stays nice we plan to try it out in the front garden. Also expecting a Sainsbury's order this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Ally you won't need them much warmer, it's not chilly at all. Mind you, Scotland might be a bit different I suppose ;)

Afternoon everyone :)

I've barely drawn breath today. D wasn't feeling up to our usual Sainsbury's trip, so I walked up there and Mick picked me up afterwards. His knee and ankle problem has blown up again, and he had a lot of trouble getting in and out of the car - he won't be able to run me up to Pilates tonight so I've messaged Em to see if she can do a slight detour and pick me up. M usually drops me up there, and Em drops me home. it's about three miles from here, and off the bus route

After I got back from shopping I did some housework and then the ginormous pile of ironing that's built up since Monday  :cute:  I've just cooked M an early dinner and put B's plated up in the microwave.

Love to all xxx
