Good morning Thursday

Postby meriad » 08 Jul 2021, 06:54

Hello everyone and good morning

a grey, but sun trying to get through, start to the day. Got a few conference calls today and a few bits and bobs to catch up on; so the regular mix of work and pootling as usual.

Not much else planned for the day.

Thinking of Kaz and family today

Have a lovely day everyone x

Hi Ria, you just beat me to it.

Good morning Great Britain.... and the world.

Bright and sunny here with a gentle breeze. T'storms forecast for the evening, but warn and clear till then.

Not much on as it's Thursday, the most boring day after Tuesday. Another drive out and a walk might be on the cards - Bolton Abby.

Have a good one. xxx

Good morning peeps.

Lovely and sunny here.

Thank goodness for the wooded area behind dad's as I've just done a cheeky 10km run. I was home by 7.20am and didn't see a soul.

(((((Kaz)))))

A day reading and pootling in the garden. :D

ETA....just been talking to Don and Southern Spain has been issued with a red weather warning. 50 degrees! :?

World weather has gone mad!

My sis in France is having the most awful rain and storms.
Mark has lived there for 14 years and it's never been like this. :o

Morning everyone.

Slept reasonably well considering, but I have one of those heavy "leaden" headaches. Mick is very quiet, Fraggle is clingy and moping bless his heart. Becky was distraught last night, once it had sunk in. I think we were all in a little bit of shock earlier because of how sudden it all was. She's tearful this morning, but has gone to Cheltenham to keep a dental appointment, and I'm about to get ready to go shopping with D. Life goes on, but there will be a Pepper-shaped hole here for a long time to come......

Take care everyone xxx

Morning everyone

Cool start again with that blasted wind but warming up.

Big hugs to you all Kaz xx It's a dreadful empty feeling, isn't it?

Over slept, well, after three rubbish nights sleep - thank you Molly - I dozed off at 6.30 and Grumpy let me sleep.

Bonkers weather here too Ally. Never had to keep the bedspread on at this time of year, normally even the sheet gets kicked off. But it's good to be cool at night. Heading for the 40's over the next few days.

Bit of a tidy up this morning, even a little cleaning, just in case. We're meeting them at 2.00 and then we'll see how the afternoon takes us.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s fairly dull here, at one stage I thought it was going to rain. Today will be our last time having Michael and Kellie for a while as they head off to Wicklow for a few weeks on Monday. They won’t be here until later - they are at soccer camp this morning, then Michael is walking home with a pal on their own for the first time and Kellie is going on a play date straight from the camp. So I will collect the two of them mid-afternoon and bring them back here for their dinner. I’ve a wash in the machine and have done some hand washing.

Morning all, a nice one it is too.
We have had gardeners with power strimmers front and back this morning, thank God they've stopped now.
In a while Eliza is coming down; we'll probably take her to the park if it stays fine.
What a lovely sentiment MM.
Have a good day all.
