Ossie, as a fellow sufferer with cardiovascular problems I would try a few basics before taking out a new mortgage for some tech.
For hands slowly clench, hold, and unclench your fists ten times, rest and repeat three times, do it a couple of times a day.
For legs and feet: Stand with toes on the edge of a stair and rise up as far as you can go then lower as far down as possible then back to level again, rest and repeat ten times and a set of three twice a day. Sit on a dining chair and raise your toes up as far as they will go so that your calves are stretched, hold for 5 seconds and release. Again ten reps in a set of three twice a day. Go for frequent gentle walks, as many as you like. Wear compression socks for a while each day especially when sitting watching TV or at the computer for longish periods; and you could try a foot pillow to raise your legs in bed.
For both drink plenty of cold water and hot tea (green or black) about four pints in total per day or just keep well hydrated. Keep the alcohol down.
I don't do them all the time, just when I feel things getting worse and for as many weeks as it takes. They are from the LGI cardio team.
Give them a try for a fortnight and if they don't do the job you have lost nothing.
