Good Morning Friday

Postby JanB » 23 Jul 2021, 07:06

Morning everyone

Grey and pleasantly cool at the moment. No doubt the cloud will go and te sun come out later, but will enjoy the coolness for now 8-)

Off to my birthday treat this morning The girls decided I should have a manicure  No idea why they thought that was a good idea - my nails are always kept short because of gardening, but hey ho.

Back to do not a lot. No swim yesterday, one of the hernia's has been tweaked some how and is a little tender, so being extra careful.

Thoughts for Ally, dad and family xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan and Saundra, morning everyone

Jan, short nails or not - a manicure is fab; it's not just about the nails but the hands as well ;-) Have you had any updates re possible op dates?
Saundra, hope you're doing OK?

Took my neighbour shopping this morning; she hasn't been to Sainsbury's since before lockdown :o I've been doing her shopping for her online but she's going away next week so needed a few things that she had to see for herself. Bless her, I'm so used to doing my shopping, know where everything is and have a routine etc so usually it's a quick whizz in and out; but she obviously didn't and I ended up waiting about 20 minutes for her not helped that there was a power cut as she was paying so that held things up even more :)

A usual usual for me - want to get the lawns mowed before the rain this weekend and also cut back the hedge belonging to the upstairs flat. Current tenant is super super lovely but a) has no equipment; and b) has even less clue

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all.
Grey here but may burn off later; much fresher than of late.
Shortly we are going out to get a paper and then get some new wiper blades for the car.
Yes, take it steady Jan. Don't overdo things. Ria you are a good neighbour.
Tomorrow we are going to Whitby for a week for a big family holiday. Everyone else is looking forward to it; I'm a bit meh about it.
Whitby has got mush busier since we started going regularly and a bit gentrified and way more expensive. But we'll see.
Anyhow if I can't get on here (poor signal where we are staying) I hope you all have a good week.
Have a good day too!

Morning all, another gorgeous day here and very warm - I changed the bed earlier and did it very slowly to avoid being a sweaty blob. Off to the gym in a while, after which I’ll go over to Miss Osc’s house, wash the seagull poo off the car (a pointless exercise but I try  ) and water the pots. I’m also having a manicure today, in preparation for the trip to Cork tomorrow, my nieces are very glam so I need to make the effort  I might experiment with the different colour on each nail style which seems to be so popular at the moment. I have a voucher for the manicure which will make it even more enjoyable ;) Crommers, enjoy your holiday! Thinking of Ally and her family.

Ended up having a pedicure instead, much better  My skin really needed sorted out

Seeing the surgeon next month Ria, so keeping everything crossed :D And well done for helping your neighbours out x

Osc, enjoy your manicure x

Rather windy now, although the clouds have blown away, but still cool, so might give the pool a miss again today.

Have a fabby time Crommers :Hi: When you get there, it might be better than you think.

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone xx

Morning all :D

Hot, but a tad breezy here.

Thinking of Ally and family xx

Enjoy your holibobs Crommers, it could be much nicer than you expect.

We had a nice lie in again, finally made myself get up around 10.15 and only then because it's wash day. E's got a sore shoulder, thinks he must have laid awkwardly, means I'll probably be back to managing making the bed myself, not looking forward to that. Nothing else planned.

Hope you all have a good day xx
