Good morning Thursday

Postby meriad » 29 Jul 2021, 07:35

Hello and good morning everyone

What a difference a day makes - after the torrential downpours yesterday, woke up this morning to sunshine and blue skies; but nippy - 9 degrees; at the end of July that is just wrong on every level!!!!

Not much planned for today - off to the local farm supply store at about 10 to get chicken and cat food but that's about it. Then back home to the usual mix of work and pootle.

Ongoing thoughts and vibes for Ally and family

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny, but with that wind still, so feeling cool. Warming up nicely later.

Ironing for me, no idea what Grumpy will be doing.

Pool later and that's about it for the day.

Thoughts for Ally, dad and family x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning....

Well it is the morning. Cold, wet and windy here, 13 °C

Nothing at all planned, just the pootling.... again.

Wrap up warm and turn the heating on.

Morning all, it’s sun and cloud here and such a drop in temperature - about 15 with a chilly breeze  Yesterday I was out in the car, and whereas last Sunday the temperature was around 25, yesterday during a heavy rain shower it was 11  :? Our supermarket shop is due this morning, otherwise it’s just mundane h/worky stuff.

Currently sitting in beautiful warm if breezy sunshine having my latte and scone in my favourite city :) It’s a lovely day, not what was forecast, but I’m not complaining!! My view is our famous cathedral, just up the road, perfect :)

Love and hugs to Ally and family xxx

Aquafit this evening, Lidl shopping en route home, and I’ve a hair appointment at 1.30, just a trim, I’m not ready to go short just yet!!

Have a lovely day all xxx

Morning all :D

It's lovely and bright here 8-)

Thinking of Ally and family xx

Looks like we'll finally be able to get a few jobs done today. E's neck is much better so he's planning to tackle the corner behind our big garage/shed, it's totally overgrown. I'll be pressure washing the patio and boy does it need it, hasn't been done for a couple of years now. Later more Olympics catch up, we've won more medals :D :D :D

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, I’ve not done very well at getting online this week!

It’s been dry today but very breezy and a fair bit cooler, sunny though. Bill’s had two walks and on the one first thing I was regretting not wearing a jacket.

Joe’s just gone for a run with his personal trainer (our neighbour Paul) and John’s just left Leicester so will be back around 7.
He’s a happy lad at the moment. He took Amanda to a Man Utd preseason game last night and not only were they on TV a few times because they were seated by the goal but he saw Bruno Fernandes leaving after the game and got a great photo with him

Enjoy the rest of the day all :D
