Just thinking what do you do with old kindle and stuff

Will they end up as scrap? In a draw?

I always get Joe to take ours to somewhere like CEX, he’s happy to do so for a cut of the profits

I used to give my old computer hardware to school so that those doing technology could rip them apart and see how they actually worked and maybe cannibalise them to make working models.

Old phones, CD players, tablets, chargers etc now go in the "small electricals" container at the recycling bay at the supermarket.

I usually only get a new one when I manage to break the old one So they get scrapped. Our council will take small electricals or electronics if we leave them on top of the recycling box.

Oh the times I have queued in CEX with either B or H to trade stuff in

During th pandemic, a local IT firm offered to take unwanted PCs and laptops, refurbish them and give them to schools. Thet could be dropped off at a
Tesco store. I took a laptop I no longer needed.
