I've got ironing to do and he will, no doubt, be digging up years of rubbish from the ruin. It's rock hard, so heavy going.

We're off to the cinema this afternoon to see No Time To Die, the new James Bond film. Really looking forward to it, the villain's played by Rami Malek, he's such a good actor.

Afternoon all, another nice autumn day, sunny, breezy and cool. I popped into the nail bar (handily only two doors up) to get my eyebrows tinted and otherwise I’ve been getting everything ready to pack, it’s pretty organised now. Honestly, it’s not the clothes that take up room, but the “stuff” I had to run up to the chemist early to get some heat pads for Edward’s back as he is finding it very painful, now he is on painkillers plus the heat pad so hopefully it will gradually ease. He has been busy making a chocolate biscuit cake as an early birthday cake for Kellie, as we will be away for the actual day next week, so we will have a little party here for her on Thursday. I’ve done all the ironing. We got a phone call from the dental surgery asking if he could go along for a short while this afternoon to get a bite impression. As we think it was being in the dentist’s chair last week that caused his back to go, hopefully it won’t get any worse. We’ll nip into the supermarket to pick up a few bits, we’re not doing a big shop this week as we’re going away.

A grey day here. Eliza is here, the poor mite is full of cold. Mind you so am I.
We got another quote to touch up the scratches on the car. I'm glad that we did, it's a lot cheaper than the first one.

It's been a bright and breezy day here so far, but it's clouding over now. I've been to see D, she's feeling rotten after her covid booster yesterday Hopefully she'll feel better tomorrow. Becky is having some training at work this week starting today, for the VNA post, she was looking forward to it
