Oooh we saved €800!!
Posted: 05 Nov 2021, 19:17We have a cruise booked for early June next year, booked it in August. Last night, we were looking on the Celebrity Cruises site when we saw they had an offer for the 2nd guest to travel for 50%. We knew from various FB pages that it was very difficult to get through on the phone, so today we tried contacting them. In total, it took 2 1/2 hours and using two phones in the end, and finally I got through to a most helpful American lady. Long story short, we cancelled the original booking, immediately rebooking the same cabin, with a saving of €800! The cruise leaves from Rome so that more than covers our air fares, and helps with a hotel night. Very pleased with our persistence (and I did all the ironing while waiting
