Good morning.

Mostly sunny but cooler at 16 degrees being forecast. Might have to put my longer shorts on. ;)

Off for a walk. I've got a newish route that takes me away from my normal foresty one but I really like it. Completely different as it's more open. :D

Back to finish writing my overseas Christmas cards then I'll walk into town to the post office and get them sent.
There's 2 national holidays here next week so I'll be ahead of the game.

Masterchef tonight. :D

Have a great day.

How's your mum doing Jo? xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny now, but with a strong wind.

We were lulled back to sleep by the sound of rain   Not forecast, not expected, but very welcome 8-)

Off to Ourique after a later than planned breakfast, to do the normal runaround. Need more fleece for the plants, stamps and then the joy that is Pingo. Am expecting all the walls and maybe the roof to be on the new Aldi by now :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Al, Jan and all. We’ve had another helping of snow overnight, just a light covering this time though and it’s bitterly cold and clear. It certainly wasn’t forecast though.

Bill’s had his walk and now I’m just sorting some washing out. Joe’s in college but should be home early afternoon and then we’re driving up to Manchester late afternoon, it’s an 8.15 kick off tonight.

Have a good day all x

Morning all, it’s a pleasant enough day here. We will be going to dance practice in a while then back before Michael and Kellie arrive. Edward has started putting up the decorations and we’ll do the tree when M and K are here. I’m planning to do some cards at the weekend - we got our first one today! I’ve drastically reduced the list in recent years as postage is now so expensive. Now it’s mostly family, and friends who aren’t on FB.

Good morning all.
A bright and cold morning here.
We are awaiting a visitation from Hurricane Eliza. Today will be spent putting the Christmas tree up. She will love that.
That apart, still looking for a holiday cottage.
Have a good day all.

She's a blowing over here  Blowing an absolute hooley  We had benches over, plants over and not a hope of trying to put the fleece on the trees, that will have to wait.

Got everything done, just reminds me that I loathe that supermarket :x

Morning all :)

Bright and sunny here 8-)

We had a lovely meal yesterday, it was so nice to be out doing 'normal' stuff. The Racing Greyhound really do go all out, they always get a professional decorator in do do the Christmas decs, after missing out last year they really went to town. They're taking the new variant seriously, all the staff are wearing masks again and they're asking people to wait for table service so no crowding round the bar. The food isn't particularly special, just the normal pud grub, but the atmosphere is lovely, we're lucky to have it so close by.

It's E's birthday, he's 69 today, think he's trying to catch me up  We're not doing much, but we will have a bottle of bubbly with our casserole this evening.

Hope you all have a good day xx
