Good morning.

Toasty sunny forecast for 24 degrees. 8-)

I'm off for a walk. Through the forest so it'll end up a run if I see fresh boar tracks.

Jacob's off to Lithuania at 6pm so we're dropping him at the airport at 3.
A big package arrived for him from Amazon yesterday morning.....a very thick, triple lined coat and a hunters hat. He'll need it over there!

I'll pick up a roast chicken from the asado. We have coleslaw, salad and spicy wedges to go with it and I've got a couple of Masterchefs to watch on catch up.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Beautiful sky this morning and were also forecast a lovely warm day at 22C 8-)

Off to Ourique soon, need to get some money out to pay for the goodies arriving on Tuesday and also to see the doc, as the cream hasn't helped my hands.

Then we'll pop into Pingo, nice and early, to get heavy stuff, beer, water wine   Will also get some chorizo to make favas, as a back-up for Tuesday. I0ll make that tomorrow.

Back for breakfast and then head outside and do some more gardening, Sun, then showers keep us busy

Safe travels to Jacob x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Really warm now 8-)

Our new doctor was on duty this morning, so he did the normal new doctor stuff, weight (spot-on) bp (a little high), do you drink alcohol (silly question in Portugal  )

He's sending me off to see a dermatologist as the skin disease  is not something he's happy treating. He did tell me what it is, but I couldn't quite understand his Portuguese (he's Brazilian :) ) so I'll just wait.

I get out of washing up, as I forgot to get some glove in Pingo   and I must avoid all detergents for now. He prescribed some cream, but the chemist had to order it.

I'll be in the garden, with suncream on later.

Morning all.
Nice and mild here this morning. In a while I'm off for a walk.
Son and gf are coming for dinner, accompanied by Fred the black lab who will doubtless be after the meat.
Apart from that not much on.
I would give my last pair of trousers for a bit of that Spanish / Portuguese warmth.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s a lovely bright day here. We’ve been lazy, up a bit later than usual and yet to have our showers. We’ve watched our usual Sunday morning country music show and I’ve finished writing the cards, ready for posting this week. This afternoon we are going to a Christmas social dance so I’ll be getting my glitter on :D

Afternoon :)

Another busy day here - up early to get brekky down at the Quays before dropping H off at church. Then round to see D. Becky managed to get up in time to join us, despite having been out last night at what sounded like a very jolly Christmas party, out in the wilds of Gloucestershire  One of the staff at Woods lives on a family farm, and every year - apart from last year, of course - they throw open a barn, all decked out for a party! 8-) 8-)

Round to see D after that, then the others went home, while I stayed to do D's nails for her. She needed the "wedding" gels soaking off, and her own tidying up and repainting, so I took my kit round and did them for her, finishing off with a nice pale pink gel :) Mick took H out for some driving practice, then they came to pick me up, Harry driving us home   The first time he's driven me, but he actually did very well 8-) Dinner is in, chicken and all the trimmings - I'm starving so can't wait!

Love to all :) xxx
