Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 04 Jan 2022, 06:55

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast a pleasant 23 degrees. 8-)

Off for my walk shortly. :)

Need to get a few bits from Mercadona. Everything closes at 2pm tomorrow for Kings and I'm not leaving last bits till that madness.

Don's suggested going out for lunch which sounds a jolly good idea. :D

We watched the first episode of Four Lives last night and part 2 is on tonight. Really enjoyed it.

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Ally makes sense re the shopping; and enjoy the lunch

Well, for me the holiday is officially over. I only checked work emails a few times between Christmas and today and obviously needed that break more than I realised I did; it was bliss, but back to work as of today so it'll be a case of the usual pootling whilst working :) Oh and picking up Thomas from college - Nadine is doing covid clinic today from 7am - 2pm and Thomas finishes at 12.30 so to save him hanging about for 2 hours I'll pop down and get him home

Looks to be a not very warm day today (in fact most of the week) - dry but max of 5 degrees with wind chill bringing it closer to 0 apparently. Nippy

Have a lovely day all xx

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Sun and cloud this morning, with wet stuff forecast for sometime today. Colder here too. Only 16C

Washing machine on and I'll risk putting the towels out. Also got the ironing to do and will take all the decorations down. Then I'll be able to see all the dust  But I'll be strong and ignore it 8-)

Jan and her family tested negative yesterday, so it's still on Joaqhuina who caught it, rather bizarrely. But Chris and Lucy will stay put until Friday, they've also tested negative, but think it's best to wait a few more days.

I made favas the other day, so that's dinner sorted.

Hope your son is okay Crommers x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning everyone.
Cold, bright and sunny here.
We are about to do the B@M and Aldi run. Some for us, some for daughter and son in law who are having to isolate.
Son is ok so far Jan, thanks. :)
Mrsc is going to take Eliza for a little walk again this afternoon and that's about it.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, another sunny morning but definitely colder. Edward took down the upstairs decs yesterday but Michael and Kellie will help taking down the tree tomorrow. Edward has headed off to walk to the golf club and I’ll go for a walk in a while - we need fish so I’ll walk in that direction. He bought me a new coat for Christmas and it is rather long, so I’m going to measure it against my old coat before deciding whether or not to take to be shortened. No other plan for the day.

Well the heavens opened and the wind was so strong, the trees were bent over  All calm now, just waiting for the sun to come back out and then the washing can go out again.

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here

Glad we got the outside decs down yesterday, we'd have got soaked doing it today. Operation inside decs and tree today. We got all the boxes in from the garage yesterday, they'll get filled but if this rain keeps up will probably have to wait in the utility room overnight. Likewise the tree, can't put it away wet, but at least it will all be ready to go out tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s turned cold here but it’s very sunny.

Bill had his very early morning walk, it was so muddy in the woods. I usually take him a short walk (I say short but it’s usually around 45 minutes) at lunchtime but he’s managed to stretch that out to 85 minutes today

John’s back at work and has gone on a site visit. Tom’s in school but it’s an inset day today and they’re staggering the pupil return over the next few days. Joe’s booked his work days off this week so he’s home today, in college tomorrow and Thursday and then off on Friday to take Amanda back to Cornwall. Her Christmas holiday has gone so quickly, but this is her final term so she’ll be back for good in May :Hi:

Have a good day all :D

Afternoon everyone :)

Another early start here. I dropped a repeat prescription request in for Harry, at the surgery. Then walked into town to collect an order from M&S - post is on the Boutique board ;) I took some soup up to D's so we could have lunch together, while we watched the news then Father Brown :) Got home about half an hour ago. B is doing a personal training session on Zoom in the living room so I am upstairs at the moment. She used to use the telly in H's room, but that plan went out of the window when he moved in, she doesn't have a telly in her room so living room it is :x I never thought this house could feel small, but it seems to have shrunk a lot lately

Love to all :) xx
