Sprouts

Never seen them up here - apart from the frozen muck :roll:

There they were, sat sitting in Aldi this morning, so we bought some for our dinner tonight.

Still don't like them :lol: ~

We have some left, so I'll do them differently next time, add onions and presunto.

One of the TV cooks did them finely sliced with chopped garlic, shallots and lardons, so not a million miles removed from your idea, Jan.

Fry the lardons, add a drop of oil and do the garlic and shallots, then in with the shredded sprouts for just a few mins, knob of butter to finish as they cool in a bowl. They looked quite edible. ;) :D :D

This is rural Portugal. Not seen them, not even in the Algarve.

Another who loves them here :lol: .... fry them in a pan with potato slices and onion, makes a good bubble 'n squeak

Oooh, I absolutely love sprouts! yum.... just steamed with salt and butter.

But then I love all brassica's really
