Grumpy suggested dinner out the other day, for tonight, so we thought of Restaurante Sao Silvestre. Nice and clean, roomy between the tables and gert lush food.

Closed.

Drive back through Ourique, go to grill Belinha.

Closed.

Okay, we could try the Mundial, O Lobo, Patio or the Adega. The first three are okay. Ish.

Able to park close to the Adega do Monte Velho and went there.

The most succulent black pork :Hi:

Huge salad, loads of chips (no rice Ally, we refused it  ) I had what amounted to a whole pork tenderloin  Grumpy has secretos, which are thin slices of pan fried black pork. And a lot of it.

Completely stuffed

We'll be taking the family there, when they come over.

They can pay

The most unexpected meals in the most unexpected places. We stopped in St cecile les vigne in France one holiday in the 90's. The restaurant looked like it had been an old garage and it only had a few on street tables.

The food was out of this world and the price was UK pub grub prices.

Been a lot of inflation in France since but you can still find incredible places to eat if you have the time.
