Bit of a shock

Miss Osc’s car was rear ended while driving to Wicklow this afternoon :o She had the children in the car and their bikes on the back. The car two cars in front stopped suddenly, the car in front of her stopped suddenly, she stopped suddenly thankful that she didn’t bang in to it, but the car behind her didn’t manage it and bashed into her car. He was a policeman on his way to work and has apparently accepted the blame. Thankfully, SIL was just a couple of km behind her so was able to stop, help with the sorting out, get them into his car, and they are in Wicklow now. She has phoned, sounded stressed, said the children were ok although Michael got upset, I suppose they could still have delayed reaction. In the end, though, it’s just a car, their lives are more important.

Thank goodness everyone was unhurt Osc. Cars can be replaced, people can't.
I'm guessing Miss Osc's car and the bikes are a bit bent?
Hopefully the insurance will sort it all out.

Actually, the bikes are ok! She has been on the phone to us again, sounds much more calm now. She is on our car insurance so can have the use of that when she needs it, we don’t use it that much.

It can be very upsetting when you are involved in an accident even if there are no injuries.
I have had two very minor ones in the same car in one day. Also saw a teenager knocked down on a zebra crossing by a car which had
overtaken the line of stationery traffic. Fortunately she was not seriously injured.
