Another 30° forecast. Someone needs to tell the weatherman it's only April.

My trainers are sulking as my swimming cossie is getting all the attention this morning.

Only because Don and I are getting the 1.15 bus into Malaga to meet up with Conor in Morrissey's to watch the Old Firm game.
That'll be plenty enough walking from the bus station and back again and in silly heat.

It'll be around 8 when we get back to our town so we'll have another beer and order a takeaway chicken with all the side dishes.

Sunny and warm already. Not quite as hot as yesterday, but still 27C

Having a day off from gardening, I have a blister Will be making the hot black bean salad for this afternoon, as we're going to a friends for a bbq. David is doing special rub for ribs, Canadian style, Lucy is doing a chicken something or other. Should be good fun.

Morning all, Happy Easter! It’s fairly dull here with rain forecast for later My sister is coming for dinner, roast lamb and trimmings. We’re having it early, around 2pm. Otherwise, just a normal Sunday.

Then a Apple crumble as a treat

But Scarlett has ready for when they come on Wednesday by for now

I fell over in the butcher's yesterday and banged my head, the joys of getting older. I hadn't even had a drink.
We went to Eliza's 4th birthday party yesterday. They are so lovely at that age aren't they Saundra?
Beef for dinner today, our son and sister in law are coming.
Son is so much happier since he split with his g/f. We feel a bit guilty at not spotting his unhappiness but it's all good atm.

Nothing much happening here today, we're still recovering from the bed palaver yesterday. Just having porridge and will be having a couple of hot cross buns shortly. Usual Sunday dinner, rotisserie chicken with veg and choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud.

We have lovely sunshine. Have managed to finish weeding the garden. It is now ready for plants which I have oreded and will be delivered soon.
Have also planted some sunflower seeds, marigolds and lettuce. I do not have a greenhouse so am hoping the weather stays arm and
they will ll germinate. May buy some hanging baskets to brighten up the wooden fence. There is a good nursery which only sells plants
not very far away.

May wash the car this afternoon. Have done a load of washing. The ironing can wait till tomorrow.

Having a nice Easter Sunday here. Chris arrived late morning, we've had a delicious roast lunch and he's now snoozing on the sofa It's sunny here, a beautiful day. No Doreen as she's expecting Jeff and Jayne sometime this afternoon - they're here until Wednesday so we'll probably see them tomorrow
