Good morning.

Hot. 8-)

I've been for my dodge the heat walk.

I'll have a swim soon then a few hours lazing and reading.

We're out with friends late afternoon to a BBQ. My Bombay potato has been requested.

Have a great day.

Morning! :)

Enjoy the barbecue Ally :) xx

The sun's out here, so our brunch at Corretto's should be pleasant :) B has an appointment for a spray tan so won't be coming with us, just us and the dawg :) Usual Saturday stuff, round to D's afterwards and Mick needs new jeans, so will look in the M&S outlet.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Sunny and warm if not hot day 8-)

It's taken me almost half an hour to get this far  Saturdays always seem to be very slow, connection wise.

I'm off strimming as soon as I've finished my coffee. We're also popping into Ourique before the bar visit this afternoon, to get more petrol, as it's going up again on Monday

Curry tonight and I'll make some flat breads too.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning!

You couldn't make it up, the luck we're having .....

First the Covid, then the solar thermal system blowing up, now the fridge/freezer has gone pop overnight,
We're currently cooking everything in sight, Cold buffet available from 10:00 onwards. :)

(Thankfully, we didn't have a lot in it as it happens).

Morning all, yesterday was another mad day when I didn’t get to post. I was having bloods done at 10.30, the weather was poor so no golf and Edward came with me. When the vampire had done her business, I had a picnic brekkie in the car, then we headed off to a shopping centre to look for trousers for Edward. No luck with the trousers, M&S had a poor selection, but I did get a nice pair of shorts. Then we went to TK Maxx - big mistake  He ended up getting a very nice linen jacket, but we were out for much longer than we had planned. Drive home in torrential rain, which was stressful, get our dinner and be ready to go back out dancing by 6pm. Dancing was fun, but it was another awful drive home in torrential rain, made worse this time by it starting to get dark. By the time we got home, we were only able to collapse into bed!

Today is a much better day and later this morning, we are going to watch Michael’s last away game of the season, we haven’t been to an away game of his before. It’s not too far away (same stretch of motorway where we had awful rain twice yesterday). I have lots to do in the house, might get around to some of it later, or might not ;)

Morning all :D

After the lovely sun yesterday, we're back to dull and overcast

Oh gosh Ossie, you are having rotten luck, hopefully that's your 3 disasters now.
Driving in torrential rain is horrid Osc, not surprised you collapsed into bed.

The orthotics chap was very nice. He's taken foot impressions and is arranging made to measure insoles for me. The arch will need to be quite high and he says they will be firm but not too hard so they shouldn't be too uncomfortable. He said to see how I go and if they don't help there are other options. If all fails it would be quite reasonable to ask for a second opinion with regard to surgery,

Busy day for me, couldn't do the washing yesterday so that will keep me busy today. Also expecting Sainsbury's to deliver, it's all go here

Hope you all have a good day xx

Oh dear Ossie, not much luck for you so far this year

Oh, big party then Saundra

Enjoy the match Osc x

I found some flat breads in the freezer, so that's me done for the day. Got very hot doing the strimming, but it all looks good now :D

Hi all - we're on holiday in Keswick, we arrived yesterday and are here until Friday! 8-) It rained a lot yesterday, made the journey quite unpleasant but the sun appeared about 6pm and it was a stunning evening! We've had a dry dull/bright spells day today - Tom went out to walk up Catbells (one of the mountains in Keswick) early and I then met him in the town and we went for a coffee together. I've brought the laptop as we have wifi here, it's in a great position, high up so lots of climbing as Keswick is on a hill anyway but the views are stunning!

Crommers have you gone to Sandsend again? Have a great time if so 8-)

Ossie that's not good! Hopefully that's your three things x

Have a great Saturday all x
