Good morning.

Mid 30's forecast for the foreseeable. 8-)

Seven friends (including Jackie) are flying over tomorrow for 5 days in Benalmadena and they're looking forward to toasting themselves.

Off for my walk shortly, a swim when I get back then a lazy lounger poolside day is waiting for me. :D

Tonight's movie choice is Rocket Man. I went to see Elton John at Edinburgh Playhouse in 1980 and he was fantastic so I've been a fan for decades. I'm really looking forward to watching the film.

Have a great day.

Merry morning Ally and everyone, happy Sunday :D

Ally, we can only dream of warm temperatures. Whilst not overly cold it seems we've had a constant cold wind that puts a decided nip in the air. So enjoy that lounger by the pool for all of us :D

A busy(ish) day for me, food shopping for the cats, birds, chickens and me :D I'm going to be in the office three, possibly four days next week so won't have much time during the week. Also need to tidy the garden. I had a huge jasmine that I had to cut down to replace five fence panels and now need to get rid of the mess - my two garden bins are full and I've got about another 2 loads easily so think I'll be doing a tip run as well. And then this afternoon a lazy day in the greenhouse sorting out lots of veg seedlings - happy place!

Have a lovely day all - I haven't caught up with everyone's news so hugs and vibes for those that may need them x

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Sunny and warm. Same temperatures for us too, which is just about right, Anything over 35C means I can-t work outside - for too long

Busy day Ria, and yesterday, but will look good when it's all done.

Grumpy out spraying the weeds and I-ll be doing some weeding on the flower beds later.

Pool not yet arm enough to get in - I'm not brave or daft  but by the middle of the week should be okay.

BBQ for us later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

It's too distungly hot to be stomping around. I've just come home a sweaty mess.

On a cooler note  I've just had a lovely surprise. I'll put it on a separate thread. :Hi:

Morning all, it’s a lovely sunny day here but due to change later of course  We are going dancing this afternoon, to finish off what has been a busy few days. The coming week is going to be busy also from Thursday on as we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we’ll be using it as an excuse for any and every treat for about a year  The month is just galloping by. I have a wash on the line, hopefully it’ll get some good drying, and I’ll take it in before we go out.

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

Managed to fit two walks round the close with E yesterday. He's doing so well and says he'll stand against the kitchen worktop and help with the veggies so we'll be having a roast dinner later. Still no jelly and blancmange (I'm having withdrawals ) but we will open a bottle of bubbly to celebrate his op going so well. It's bed change day so I'll definitely deserve it after tackling that on my own.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s dull day here.

I started the day with a very early walk with Bill, we didn’t see anyone else. I let him off his lead for the first time since his surgery and he loved it, we plan on removing The Cone of Shame today but I’ll wait until John’s back.

They’re all on the way back from Wales now, along with the hosepipe and pressure washer. You can never just go for a visit, John’s mom always has jobs that she needs doing (you wouldn’t think that John’s sister and her husband and three adult grandsons are all nearby). His sister has a hose pipe but she’s not asked to borrow it and who knows what happened to the pressure washer which she said she didn’t need and gave to John when she moved to Wales and only had decking, then asked for it back when one of the grandsons got a house and needed one! No doubt there’ll be lots of stories when they get back.

It’s Joe’s 22nd birthday today so his cards and presents are here waiting for him, we’re having pizzas and various sides for lunch when they get back.

Have a good day all :)

Happy Birthday to Joe :Hi: :Hi:

Too hot to be outside, so inside reading now. It's even warm sitting in the garden room
