Good morning.

Hot hot hot. 8-)

Been and back from my walk. :D

I didn't get new trainers the other day, although we ordered a new bed and I got a hat for Madrid  so I'll nip to Sprinter later and buy some.

Back for a swim and a read then get ready for Friday beers and tapas tonight.

Have a great day.

Conor, Lucia, Jacob and seven friends are off to Loja today until Monday. They've rented a huge villa near a forest which sounds fabulous.

Morning all :)

Ally, don't sprint to Sprinter, it's too hot for that ;) I hope they all have a brilliant time in Loja :D

No special plans for today, although I do have ironing later :cute: It started bright here, but is starting to cloud over. As long as it doesn't rain I'll be out there at some point :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Merry morning all and happy Friday

Ally, hope you find trainers and enjoy the usual tapas. Hope the 'kids' have a fab time
Saundra, cloudy here but apparently that wind that you have is coming our way and will be blowing the clouds away and we've been promised a sunny afternoon; yay!
Kaz, enjoy whatever it is you end up doing
Jan - happy Portugal Day! Enjoy the dinner and fingers crossed for something not salad :D I'm off to a friend tomorrow; she and her husband are Portuguese and every year the weekend closest to Portugal Day they have a big party; tomorrow will be the first once since Covid started so will be lovely to catch up with lots of people.

I'm in the office again this morning; but will be leaving at midday and then work from home this afternoon. Out for dinner with friends this evening; which will be nice.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Good morning everybody.
Went to Chorley yesterday on the bus. Had a good day jst looking in shops and some of the stall,on the market. Like most places there
have been changes including an M&S food outlet on what was part of the car park known locally as the Flat Iron.
Have been and bought some plants as there are a few empty places in the borders.
The sun is shining but there are a few clouds but no rain forecast.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s sunny again now until it decides to cloud over and look like rain again

The Tesco delivery came earlier than the booked time, not a problem though and it’s all away now.

Joe and Amanda are going into Birmingham after he finishes work at lunchtime, he’s very excited today as he’s picking up his new car this evening. It’s been a stressful week for him because he has private plates on his car and needed to change them back and get a new log book from the dreaded DVLA. That was all done online last week and he’s been worrying that the paperwork wouldn’t arrive on time but it finally came yesterday.

We both enjoyed the new Top Gun film last night! Proper edge of your seat stuff :D

No plans for today, I’m now waiting for DPD to deliver Bill’s insulin. I’ve started ordering it online because it’s 10 vials for £70 (plus £10 for the private prescription) from this particular company compared to 4 vials from the vet for £65.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

E did well yesterday, he saw a nurse practitioner who was really pleased with his progress. Even better, he arrived early expecting to wait, but he was seen quite quickly and was home just after 1pm.

Usual Friday wash day here, E will go off out for a walk later.

Hope you all have a good day xx
