Good morning Friday

Good morning.
Boy oh boy was yesterday a cracker of a day!
We went into Coral Island (more for me as it was where we always took the boys so a nostalgic trip) and went on the monorail.
I took a video as we were going round and posted it on our family group WhatsApp.
Don and the three boys were delighted...as was I.
We'd booked the tower for 12 but got there an hour earlier and they let us in.
We did the cinema experience (excellent) then got the lift up as far as it goes which is to the glass walkway.
Wow! You step on the glass and looking out the views are towards the beach. Looking down is tummy tumbling.
You see right down the side of the tower which is weird (but great! ) and you realise how high up you are as people look like teeny ants.
It was incredible.
There are five glass floor panels to stand on...we did each one.
We then walked round the four different 'sides' of the tower taking in each different aspect of Blackpool.
Next we climbed twisty metal stairs to the next level and looked out.
Then the next set of stairs....then the last lot which took us to as high as we could go. Wonderful!
A well spent £15.
We got the lift down to the fifth floor where we shared a plate of chips in the Harry Ramsden restaurant and I had my first ever Costa Coffee.
After that we had a stroll on the beach, went on the big wheel then made our way back to the hotel to get the car and head home.
But not before an impromptu dance on the promenade when a blast of Strictly Come Dancing music came on.
A wonderful, laughter filled two days.
Today we're going into Solihull for a few bits, dropping Aimee at New Street to get her train to Manchester then coming home to paint our nails as tonight we're meeting up with the girls (the ones who came over to Benalmadena in May) and we're booked for an Indian meal at 8pm.
Drinks first at Jackie's.
Have a great day everyone. X
Safe journey home for M Kaz. xx
