Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 03 Aug 2022, 05:57

Good morning.

Yesterday's trip to the Peak District was fantastic.
The weather was perfect...sunny, breezy and not a drop of rain.
We rambled more than 20km. :cute:

A walk for me this morning then I'm going into town to meet a friend for lunch. :D

Craig finishes work at 4pm and we're going to the big Asda.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Mist slowly going and we're in for another warm day 8-) Although we have been told August will be hot - really    - it won't be as a furnace as June and July were. So a little respite.

Off to Castro Verde this morning, nice and early, before it gets too hot and too busy. Jan is in England as her mum is in hospital and asked me to get here some veggie stuff, so we'll get that and some things for us too. Like the most scrummy cheeses :D

Back to get some compost, money on the phone and do Aldi and Pingo. Collapse in a heap afterwards

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all.
I've never been to the Peak District Ally, they do say that it is nice. Keep cool if you can, Jan.
Today is our last day of having our daughter's dog, thank the Lord. He has a lovely nature, there isn't a bad bone in his body, but he's a totally giddy kipper. Cockerpoos sometimes are.
We need a few bits from Sainsbury's and MrsC is going to visit her Auntie Violet this morning. After that our son is coming over for an hour.
We take Dobby back this evening.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Good morning you three and anyone else who drops in.

Bright and mild here, just the job for a walk, then it's off to pick the car up from the MOT garage. Then home.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, it’s a nice sunny one here with a few clouds floating around. We are off to Wicklow in a while, Miss Osc and SIL are married 20 years today  We will stay overnight and they have booked themselves a night in a very nice hotel not too far away. Michael has already messaged Edward to know if we are on the road yet  Back tomorrow evening.

Morning all

Saundra, that made me laugh re Scarlett setting up the TV - you are so right. I remember years back mom was flying back to Germany and it was really bad weather here in the UK. Those days she didn't have a mobile phone so I arranged a prepay sim and popped it into an old phone of mine so she had some form of communication if there was an issue. She had instructions from me that if she was struggling to work the phone, that she should find any kid around 13 / 14 and they'd show her :D

I'm about to get myself ready to meet up with friends for lunch. They had suggested dinner but because I'm cat sitting for my neighbour I asked for lunch instead - so laptop and I are off to Surbiton in a bit :D

have a lovely day all, enjoy all the bits and bobs you're up to xx

You book an appointment. It was a lovley young girl who took the test swab. A queue had formed when I cam out of the cubicle. So it seems a lot
