Good morning.

Forecast another degree hotter than yesterday's 41. 8-)

A day spent reading and lazing by or in the pool.

Have a great day.

Morning :)

That sounds like a relaxing day Ally :D xx

Usual Sunday stuff for us, out in a while :) It's grey and cloudy, not sure if rain is forecast, but it's so badly needed that I promise not to complain  Mick finished putting up the new shed yesterday evening, it looks great!

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Lovely, sunny morning, but with a brisk breeze, so feels cool in the shade at the moment.

Woken up to the sound of shot guns  Yes, hunting season started today and they've been at it since 7.30  So that's every Sunday and Thursday, plus any holiday days from now until February

Another lazy day here too. Lilo and athletics day.

Salad for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Because you're daft

Just had a text from the prociv bods, telling us we're very high risk for the next few days because of the heat.

So, no bbq's, no work in forests, extra vigilance.

Morning all, it’s a nice sunny morning here. Having a lazy morning before going dancing this afternoon. On the way back, we might pop in to see Miss Osc and family as they came back from their holidays yesterday. Kaz, tell Mick that post-retirement projects are not supposed to be done within a few days - they are supposed to be long fingered then done very slowly……. ;)

Good morning all.
Ally! 42c and you are exercising? You're hardcore!

Too right Osc.I know a man who has been restoring a car for 18 years. You can't rush these jobs!

Sunny here this morning, it's rained overnight. Sunday dinner with son and sister in law.
I went to see a cricket match yesterday in the village where I grew up. I met and spoke to people I hadn't seen in years. Went in to the new pavilion and saw a board with an "In memory of" section. I knew so many names on that list, good people. It was quite moving.
Met one man called Eric who I'd played rugby with at school. He'd work for the gas board for 49 years! Only finished this year as well. He'd been ill, had three heart attacks in five days. One of them at home, if his wife hadn't been there it would have been curtains. But he looks fine now and says he feels it too. He'd never had a ay's illness in his life until that. (Apart from Tetley-itis aka hangovers). He's now been fitted with a stent and a pacemaker.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Ally, you're mad
Kaz well done Mick, but Osc's right, there's no rush in retirement.

That made me laugh  Stay safe Jan.

We had a lovely walk yesterday, it was hot, but there was a lovely breeze. Lots of people on the beach and in the sea, a perfect day for it.

Absolutely nothing planned for today, I popped a gammon in the slow cooker yesterday so we'll have that cold with salad for dinner. Intend to be extremely lazy

Hope you all have a good day xx
