Good morning.

34° forecast and much less stiflingly hot.

Off for a walk then back for a swim.

I'll get my train tickets booked for November :cute: and look at flights home.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny but cool at the moment.

You know it's cooler at night when the cat stays in

Washing out and more to go out, which will soon dry.

Swim this afternoon, when it's warmer ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

soI want to finish it before the rain starts.

Morning all.
Cloudy and fresher here. The horse chestnuts are going brown and losing their leaves now; the other night there was a feel of autumn in the air.
Not many people grow lupins these days Cruiser; I do like to see them.
Jan, Molly the weather forecasting cat! That does sound more bearable Ally.
Cooking a bolgnese today, not much else going on. We will get out for a short walk this afternoon.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, it’s a nice day here although I think a change is coming. We had a nice weekend in Wicklow and finished it off by going to an afternoon dance on the way back - we were pretty tired when we got home but stayed awake to see Rory McIlroy winning the FedEx championship in some style in America. I’m off to the gym this morning, then will start getting ready for going on holiday next Saturday.

Morning all :D

One minute sunny the next overcast :?

Keeping an eye on the weather, planning to get out in the garden and have a big tidy up. Need to do the front first, there are weeds coming up between the slabs, not a lot, but it looks awful. Will probably do that first, have lunch and then tackle the back, exhausted just thinking about it. Oh and also expecting a Tesco order late afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Glad it’s getting slightly cooler, Ally :) xx

Sensible cat, Jan :) xx

What a shame about the lupins, Cruiser, they’re so pretty xx

Lots of leaves falling here too, Crommers! xx

Osc, there’s a hint of Autumn in the early mornings xx

Hi Saundra xx

Same sort of weather here, Jen xx

We’ve been busy. Off to Wickes first looking at kitchen cupboard doors and worktops, then B&Q looking at paint and wallpaper for the living room. Off to look at corner sofas tomorrow - major changes going on in the Jones-Jackson household ;) I will pop details on the Home board when we’ve decided ;) We also have someone coming on Wednesday evening to talk about solar panels, although we’ve far from made up our minds about that!

Round at D’s at the moment, then we have an invite for a cuppa round at Em and Dave’s for 4. Fraggle stayed home with B, who has strongly denied having a hangover from the festival yesterday, but was a little too eager to volunteer to stay home with the pooch

Love to all xxx

You're doing more or less what we did exactly 3 years ago Kaz.

Our kitchen is huge  with gawd knows how many cupboards but the company that did it all said the actual cupboards themselves were excellent so recommended just new fronts and work surfaces.

I was over the moon with the result (I still am) and of course it was nowhere near the cost if we'd had everything ripped out. :cute:

And far less messy.
