Good Morning Tuesday

Postby JanB » 30 Aug 2022, 06:29

Morning everyone

Misty over the Algarve hills but the sun is out so another warm day 8-)

Off into the garden soon. I only managed half an hour yesterday and then it just got too hot to be out working in it, so starting a little earlier this morning.

Just need to cut some fast growing ground cover back and then I have ironing

Swim again this afternoon. Water still 27C, so quite pleasant and not too cold to get in. Although that is according to me, Grumpy is a different matter

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Morning Jan.

I was having a swim at 7.30 this morning.
It was so hot last night I got up this morning, put my cossie on and stood under the pool shower for about five minutes.

Even that early the water was treacly warm but getting it done early means I avoid my swimming cap getting frazzled.

We have very little ironing in this house and what we do have Don does. Most of it is his to be fair. I seem to wear no need to be ironed clothes.

Lots to do today. ;)

Good TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning you two.
The child is here today so we will be busy.
Crikey Ally! Jan, is the pool too cold for Grumpy?
It's interesting to hear how hot it is over there when autumn is definitely on the way here.
We need to do a supermarket run sometime today and maybe go to a park.
Eliza starts school next week, I can't believe it!
Have a good day everyone.

We have lovely cool nights Crommers, about 15C at the moment and it takes a while to warm up :D

We're nowhere near as hot as Ally, should make 30C later.

When we lived in the Algarve, it was a lot hotter at night, much prefer it here :Hi:

Morning all :)

27° sounds great for a swim Jan - lovely! xx

Ally, a perfect start to the morning! I have tons of ironing in the summer as M and I wear a lot of linen and cotton stuff, but B is like you, hardly anything she owns needs an iron ;) xx

Our little Poppy starts next week as well Crommers, can hardly believe it  xx

Scarlett will be 7???!! Where did that time go, Saundra? :D xx

There's a definite early Autumn nip in the air here, although it will probably warm up like yesterday as it's sunny. We're going to look at sofas today, then Fraggle has an appointment back here for 3.30 with the Snip Doggy Dog lady

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s gorgeous here. We have Kellie for the day, she goes back to school tomorrow. The plan is to have a picnic somewhere just a shortish walk away. Before that I have stuff to do including a trip to the post office and hopefully I’ll have time to do a bit more holiday clothes prep. Better get started while Kellie has her allotted 30 minutes iPad time.

Good morning all, happy Tuesday

Ally, are temperatures dropping a bit where you are?

It's scary just how quick the various VV kids are growing up - time is flying by.

It's definitely a lot cooler today that it was over the weekend and also quite overcast. I've risked putting a load of washing out on the line - four different weather forecasts all say it'll stay dry. I'll be out for the afternoon and evening so won't be able to get it in until I get home. As for ironing - I can't remember the last time I did any of that   . It's not that I don't like doing it, I just don't have the space to leave an ironing board up 24/7 and I just can't be bothered with the faff of getting it in and out of the cupboard, getting the iron out, then waiting for it to cool down before putting away...

Have a lovely day everyone xxx

Morning all :D

Dull and windy

We slept in again this morning so only just having brekkie  Glad we did the garden yesterday, definitely not the best day to be chasing all the palm tree leaves today. Not a lot planned, will pop over to the small Tesco before lunch, just need a few bits I forgot to add to the delivery that came yesterday, think I'm going doolally

Hope you all have a good day xx
