We don't know how she is but it is likely that she has been given a prognosis which contains a chance she won't survive it.
Under those circumstances I would expect her to bring the family in to set out her expectations should she not survive. A final act of devotion in a life of devotion.
Given that she has a prognosis with a chance of survival, my hopes and good wishes are with her.
As for the SNP idiot who decided this would be time to make a political joke publicly, that is what impeachment is for. Hopefully, someday, it will be in the UK too.
