Good morning.

I'd take up two pages if I was to tell about yesterday's mega busy day but suffice to say it was fabulous and so good to see sis again. :cute: :cute: :cute:

We've got a mega busy week ahead starting with going to Edinburgh today. :D

We're picking Fiona up, leave the car at Cleland station and get the train in.
I booked the tickets ages ago. £30 return for the three of us. Bargain! :cute:

Lunch has been booked and lots to see and do and very much looking forward to it. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

~Lovely, sunny morning.

With shots being fired and dogs going bonkers

Have a great day Ally :Hi:

Washing out, as rain is forecast for most of next week. Treating ourselves to a cooked breakfast this morning and roast chicken later.

Will get out and do some more weeding later, once it's warmed up a bit more.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Cloudy with a few patches of blue sky.
Am relaxing now grand-daughter has gone home.
I will be going out later to friends house for cake and coffee. Her DIL makes cakes.
It is my birthday so have to have a little celebration. Bought a cacti at the RHS centre on Friday and have put it in the front window.

Ally. When I was in thew Scouts, I climbed to the top of Robert Burn memorial in Edinburgh. About 200 steps. You can't do that now. Have been to Edinburgh
many times since both on holiday and when I was working.

Have a good day everybody

Morning all, it’s very dull here. I’m not sure what I’ll do today, I might check in for our cruise as check in became available yesterday. A dancing friend gave me a jigsaw on Friday night so I might get a start on that. I wrote the Christmas cards yesterday and wrapped up the presents for my brother’s grandchildren, so I’m progressing well on my list. Edward is making the Christmas cake this morning, he did the mincemeat yesterday and it is marinating nicely. The aim is to get to the week we go away with very little to be done - so far so good!

Miss Osc and family stayed in a hotel last night, a special treat for Michael’s birthday. They sent us a lovely video of the waiting staff in the bar coming out with a candle on his dessert and all singing Happy Birthday to him, followed by loads of people clapping - he looked alternately delighted and embarrassed! Miss Osc had brought a cake too and they had cake and candles earlier in their room.

Good morning.
Busy busy busy Ally.
With all the racket from the dogs Jan I'd be tempted to invest in a gun too Jan. Just saying.. ;) .
A nice sunny morning now after a dull start.
Sunday dinner in a while and a lazy Sunday to come. Might watch the world cup footie, or not.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Heavy rain and wind first thing, the sun's out now.

No papers again this morning, the second time this week. I rang to let them know and got a call back just after 11 and was assured they would be delivered. Still not here so not feeling too confident.

Not doing much today, chicken and veg for dinner, raspberry blancmange with blackcurrant jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Hi everyone :)

It’s been a sunny but very clear day here :) Out for brunch at Corretto’s and then round to see D. She’s been having trouble getting help over the fencing beside her front drive - it’s part of the alleyway, but not actually on her property. It’s damaged and keeps flapping about when it’s windy. She tried the council, who put her on to Highways, no joy. I messaged her local councillor and he rang straight back and is going to sort it.

Home then, casserole for lunch with doorsteps of fresh granary bread to mop up the juice. Yum :) Had a “Save the day” email from my niece for next summer, the venue is in Northumberland so it will be a three day haunt, I reckon. Such a pretty venue, and it will be lovely to see Hannah and Armand married. They’ve been together for years now, and bought their own house earlier this year.

Love to all xxx

We were discussing the same with Mitchell yesterday.

He'd have shot all of them by now

Mad Paddy

We were able to sit outside in sort of sunshine for a couple of beers earlier, but dear me, once the sun goes down, t gets very cold, very quickly.

Grumpy singing along to Westlife at the moment, I'm going to hide in the kitchen
