A walk soon then back to read and relax.

There's a chunky chicken to pop in the oven which we'll have with spicy wedges and a salad.

New series of DOI tonight then Happy Valley. Perfect.

It is raining again. Have been for the paper. Will go out later to put the cover on the windscreen. The forecast says it is going to get cold with frost.
So will put it on after lunch.

Sunny but cool. Like you Ally, it was heck of a lot warmer than forecast yesterday, we almost hit 22C The forecast rain has now disappeared until Tuesday.

Not sure what we'll be doing today, we had planned on doing not a lot as rain was forecast, so maybe we'll head outside and do something or other.

Cooked brekkie for us, as a treat and pork tenderloin for dinner.

We were gobsmacked to see our dial in the garden reading 28 yesterday at 3pm yesterday Jan.

It even reached 25° in Asturias according to the BBC.

It's the chucking off the duvet in the middle of the night that's really odd.

Morning all, it’s sunny and cold here and due to get even colder this week. We had a lovely time yesterday, the photoshoot went well, after which we went for a very nice Chinese meal - hadn’t had a Chinese for a long time so it was a tasty change. We are supposed to go dancing this afternoon, I’m honestly not bothered, not keen to go out in the cold, so we’ll see.

Slow cooked beef for Sunday dinner, a first for us.
I need a top up for my phone and maybe get a paper. Like Osc, I don't fancy going out too much today.

We need a battery for the camera,Grumpy needs a new pair of work trousers - he's a little indecent at the moment - and we've run ouot of bread.

We can take the recycling and rubbish down and have a mooch in the Chinese.

Another gloriously warm day, sowe'll just sit in the shade and enjoy it

A sunny day here - yayyyy! We’re out having breakfast, will probably walk Fraggle round the dock basin afterwards He was a bit off-colour yesterday but seems perfectly ok this morning, fingers crossed. Lamb and veggies for later, although B is going to see her friend H and baby E, so it’s just us. Round to see D in a while.

Nice and sunny, but still very windy.

We slept in again this morning, only just having brekkie/lunch. Having another easy day, roast chicken with veggies for dinner, choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud. Lots to see on the box this evening, DOI, Call the Midwife, Happy Valley
