Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 22°. 8-)

Going yomping with David. :cute:

He's chosen a route in the Sierra de Mijas mountain range, elevation 1150m and apparently it's a demanding climb. Should take between 5 - 7 hours.

I hope there's plenty of shade.

A few cold beers when we're back on land.

Don's making dinner tonight. A chicken tikka masala traybake. :cute:

DOI and Vera on TV. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Very odd coloured sky this morning  The dust is back with a vengeance this morning although the forecast is for 20C and sun

Woken up earlier with something very heavy landing on the rood :o Sounded like an ostrich  Then there was a huge clatter and scrabble of feet/claws or whatever and off it went.

Then the hunters kicked off   It's their last day of hunting until August, so making the most of it, by the sound of the amount of guns going off

We had planned a day in the garden, but we're not going out in that manky air. Apparently, it rained mud in Lisbon yesterday

Will risk a bbq later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s very dull and grey here but dry and relatively mild. No plan whatsoever for the day, Edward will be watching sport, so I’ll do some work on my jigsaw/read/knit but not all at the same time :D Plenty of good tv tonight, Dancing with the Stars Ireland and Smother, no Call the Midwife because of the BAFTAs, hopefully some Irish wins.

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine 8-)

Because our bungalow is fully south facing we get lots of sun through our big patio doors . It really warms the house, the last couple of days we've only needed the heating on for an hour in the morning, just long enough to have a shower. Yesterday we didn't need it on for the evening either, don't think it will last long though, a very cold snap is forecast.

Not much happening today, roast chicken with veggies for dinner, followed by chocolate blancmange with orange jelly for pud. DOI and Call the Midwife on the box this evening.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning everybody.
It was dull and grey when I got up. But the sun has deceided to come out and there is lots of blue sky.
Sawtwo robins on the back lawn when I was washing the breakfast pots up earlier. They were pecking at crumbs I had thrown onto the lawn.

Just pootling this afternoon.
Have a good day everybody.

Hello.
Grey again.
MrsC visited her Uncle Harry the other day; he lives down mud covered country lanes so the car looked like it had been off road by the time she got back. I'll have to get it washed soon.
Other than that the usual Sunday. A family dinner and then chill.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Wakefield is currently hosting a Rhubarb Festival. (No laughing at the back!)

Son has just paid it a visit hoping to buy some rhubarb crumble, but in vain. There's every type of esoteric rhubarb product you could think of, including rhubarb infused gin, rhubarb and ginger etc etc. But no crumble.
