Good morning.

Yesterday's 90 minute flight to Bordeaux was fab and I was off and out within 15 minutes (no passport control obviously  ) into arrivals where sis and Mark were waiting. :cute:

There was a wee celebration last night as it'd been five years since they'd bought their house.
They're friendly with the pizza restaurant owners and it was lovely to watch sis converse in French.
She's done so well (Mark had lived in France for 14 years before they met so he was already a native. )
Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. :D

Today Michele is 60. :cute:

I know we'll have a laugh when she's guessing the clues to her presents.

I'm being taken out today to various places of interest which I'm really looking forward to. :D

Tonight it's dinner at Buffalo Grill's. :D
Looking at the menu it's safe to say I'm going to be stuffed full.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny and cloudy  And not so cold, which is lovely 8-)

Happy Birthday to your sister Ally xx and enjoy your day.

Couldn't be faffed to get up as normal, but the thought of breakfast got me up

Washing machine on and we might get the plants in today - it was far too cold yesterdy, to be out, until about 4.0p, when the clouds went and the sun came out and it was really warm in the sun 8-)

Leftover curry for dinner, with chips and burgers. We know how to live

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s very dull here but dry. I’m up a bit earlier than usual as I have a doctor appointment at 10.30 for medication review. Back to do various bits and pieces, a few phone calls to make and a trip to the post office. Edward is going to play golf.

Ally, Happy Birthday to your sister and I know you’ll have a great time helping her celebrate.

Good morning everybody.
There are grey clouds and it is still cold. Had to go to the doctors this morning. The little device which I use to get a small blood sample to test my blood
would not work. Tried on Sunday and this morning. So went to the surgery and sawa nurse. Have now got a new device. The nursetook a reading while
I was with her.
Back home, I have ironed a sheet which I missed yesterday. Will be doing some housework later

Have a good day everybody.

Up to D’s later to meet Mick, D is having trouble with her phone so M is going to wait in for the engineer while D goes to her special exercise class - he went straight there after dropping me in town.

Afternoon all, it’s a dull day here.

I’m tired, me and Joe were out for 14 hours yesterday and getting back from Wembley into central London just reinforces my belief that the stadium should never have been rebuilt there. John wondered why I’d booked a train at 9pm when the match kicked off at 4.30, I’d actually taken into account extra time and penalties but even with the game finishing after 90 minutes it was 7 by the time the celebrations were over and we left the stadium…we got to Euston with just a few minutes to spare.

We (me and Joe plus his three friends who’d just travelled down without match tickets and watched the game in a pub) got a tube to Paddington and the plan was to go from there to Kings Cross and then walk along Euston Rd to the station but the tube (which should’ve taken 20 mins) had two 10 minute stops on the way due to a train in front which was having problems. By the time we reached Paddington it was almost 8.25 so we jumped in a taxi and made it just in time. We didn’t get the train back with them though as we’d booked the Wolverhampton one and they were going to Stafford.

Not much planned today, I’ve caught up on last night’s Call The Midwife.

Enjoy the celebrations Al!

Have a good day all :D
