 :o

I picked up the bathroom bin earlier and a scorpion came running out :o :o :o

I legged it too

Then got brave and went in with a wacker, before it hid.

And whacked it until it was dead and then flushed it down the loo

And Grumpy?

Watched from a great distance, giving me useless advice

When I was in the M.E. the locals would wave their hand in front of one of those green scorpions to get its sting up, then, with the other hand, come in from behind and grab the sting.

The scorpion would then be thrown in the ring with one Camel spider - loads of them about - and fight to the death - place your bets!

Did you know that scorpions glow a weird blue in the light of a UV / white LED torch?

Do you get a lot of scorpions there, Jan? I thought they were more Morrocco or North African ....

Not that many,to be honest, normally live under stones outside in the garden, o no idea why this one thought it would come inside.

Always every careful when we lift stones up, ready to jump back.
