Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 12 Jul 2023, 05:27

Good morning.

Today we are hitting the peak of the heatwave. It cannot possibly get any hotter!!!

We're going into Malaga this morning to meet Jacob and Conor for breakfast. :cute:

We haven't seen them since the middle of June (Don's birthday) as Jacob's been in Jaen staying with his girlfriend, Conor & Lucia were in Ireland for a week and I was in the UK. Poor Don was on his tod.

We're all looking forward to a good catch up. :D

Thank goodness the buses have aircon and the restaurants have shade outside. :cute:

Sewing Bee tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Jo.... it's today Craig and S go to see Pulp in Cardiff. :cute:

Morning everyone

Sunny, but with a brisk breeze, so feeling quite pleasant 8-)

Washing was out earlier and is now in, already dry

I spent a few hours yesterday with e-mails and photos to and from our solicitor about idiot next door, who is causing problems again. He parked his panel van on the access, as well as a pile of baled dead grass, right next to David and Rita's house, a real fire hazard in this heat. He only have access across it, not parking or storing and he's also moaning about building materials, blocking "his" access again

Another quiet day, with salad again for dinner.

Think I'll be glad when it cools off a little and we can eat something else

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s mostly cloudy and a bit cool here. We were woken around 5am by a bluebottle in the bathroom, it was so loud it sounded like a drone! Thankfully it must have found its way out the window again. I have a load of washing on the line. Today is hairdresser day, I’m going at 12pm and Edward at 2pm, we always go on the same day so we don’t forget when another six weeks has gone by. Before that, I need to pop up to the post office to take out some money, I paid out a good bit on Sunday paying for tickets to two different dances. No other plan for the day.

Bright and sunny 8-)

Oh dear Jan, your neighbour troubles never seem to stop, it must be very wearing xx

We'll be popping over to the small Tesco shortly, need salad stuff and hoping to get some fresh salmon for dinner tonight.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s dry but there’re some very grey clouds rolling in from Wolverhampton direction.

Still trying to dry Monday’s washing, it was almost dry yesterday and then we had a very heavy downpour, good thing Joe’s away or the washing basket would be overflowing again

No plans for the rest of the day, might see if John will put up the pegboard I bought from Ikea the other night when he’s had his dinner. I fancied a noticeboard for in the kitchen and saw these with the various attachments that you clip on so thought that’d be better. Not sure whether to have it in the main kitchen or in the utility room.

Al, enjoy the catch up with the lads, so jealous of Craig and S - the reviews have been fantastic for Pulp! Safe travels to all of you!

Have a good day all :)

Good afternoon all.
MrsC is cleaning for our son, I have been for a paper and have started on the cottage pie that we are having for tea.
Jo, our daughter and son in law went to see Pulp in Scarborough last Sunday, they said that they were fabulous.
Cloudy and showery here, glad it's not scorchio.
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

I've been out since early on, meeting my friend J for a cuppa. First I nipped into the sunbed place, then up to M&S to collect a delivery before meeting her. I met Mick up at D's after that, and we took D up to Highfields to get her plants. We had a bite up there too, just a toasted teacake. Not long been home. I have washing to put out but there's another deluge forecast so it can wait. Cottage pie for dinner, as Mick's still on soft food.

Love to all xxx
