We have winds in excess of 50mph forecast for tomorrow - south-westerly which means they funnel down our road, full-force.
I've been out this afternoon securing wheelie bins and moving tomato patio plant pots to somewhere hopefully more safe.

Tomatoes don't grow well up here, and the Polar Bears prefer black bin trash. Rumour has it that we are in for a heatwave in a few weeks. I might be able to turn the heating off.

It's been a really miserable grey, wet and just meh day today. Frank, I looked at a long term forecast and it was absolutely depressing - no heat at all in sight

David was in Faro for two days and two in Lisbon last week and he was amazed how so much cooler it was than here.
He even felt a bit chilly one night.

We’ve got strong winds forecast for this afternoon, 40+mph for around three hours, and thunderstorms.

It's crazy here, very high winds, sunshine one minute and monsoon-like downpours the next!!
