Morning all :D

What a palaver, Ed's got a huge orange size blister at the bottom of his dressing. Finally got through to our surgery and I've got to somehow get him in the car and get him there for 11am. If he waits for a district nurse it could be hours and the thought of hours in A&E isn't appealing so both I and the receptionist felt this was the best option. He'll see a nurse practitioner and if he needs antibiotics we'll get them straight away. Just hoping they don't take a look and send him to the hospital anyway. I've sorted a couple of bottles of cold water just incase we do end up hanging around for hours.

Good morning all, the weather is better today, sunshine and clouds, it’s cooler though. Michael and Edward did play golf yesterday, although SIL decided not to (he has psoriatic arthritis and is coming out of a bad flare up). It wasn’t as wet as Saturday and they actually had no rain for a couple of holes. Still got wet but nothing like Saturday. They played earlier than planned which meant that we got home at a nice time too. We enjoyed our night away despite the weather.

Edward has gone to play golf this morning and I have various bits and pieces to do. A local clothes shop has a sale on and as they usually offer good reductions, I’ll wander down for a look. Check in is open for our cruise, so I’ll do that today too, it means we might get a nice early boarding time. I’m trying to discipline myself to do some yoga at home most days in the week so I’ll do that too. Otherwise, general tidy around and maybe even some dusting!

Saundra, I agree, they let people out of hospital too early these days. Jen I hope the doc can help Ed without you having to go to A&E.

Just back from seeing the nurse, apparently blisters of this sort are quite common after surgery. It's not the actual operation wound, it's two small holes just below. Not sure what they are, wondering if it's anything to do with a camera for the robot :? Anyway he got rid of the fluid, which was quite clean, no pus thank goodness. There doesn't appear to be any infection so he redressed it and said to contact them again if it comes back up. The district nurse is due to look at it all on 1st Aug so fingers crossed we don't have any more drama's.

hello all and good afternoon

Jen, glad the practice nurse was able to see E and you didn't have to head on over to A&E - that definitely wouldn't have been fun.

Office day for me - quickly having lunch before a meeting arrives but also quickly wanted to pop in and say hi.

hope you all have a good day x
