Cold, cloudy but dry at the moment. Expecting more thunderstorms and rain/hail later

Off to the doc's in a minute, to try and get an appointment for Grumpy. he needs to renew his driving licence and therefore needs a medical. Bit of a joke really. Do you wear glasses to drive? No. Sometimes they get a chart out, most times, just give you the form and that's it

Will get soe nice bread for breakfast in Aldi and that's about it for the day, I think. Rain watching

We're due showers till 7pm which I hope happens as we're desperate for rain. And as it's only forecast for today fingers tightly crossed it happens.

It's warm though at 29°.

I'm going to cook us dinner...first time since I returned home three weeks ago.

Morning all, and a glorious one it is too. It was so lovely that I put on a wash and then went for a walk on the pier. It was just beautiful and peaceful. Of course it will be mad later on, so it was lovely to be there before the crowds, it did my soul good. Edward is ok, I’ll start a thread on the Health board.

No plan for the day, will hang out the washing to take advantage of the lovely sunshine.

We had early morning mist when I went for the paper. But it has now gone and we have sunshine. The temerature is going up. 22C now. There will be a lot
of crowds in town later as the Tour of Britain cycle race is coming through Wigan this afternoon.

May do some weeding this afternoon.

Lovely sunshine

Sleeping in has become a habit this past week, will have to start setting the alarm. Not doing much, expect Ed will have a walk later. We're having roast chicken and salad for dinner this evening, ice cream for pud.
