My op

Thanks for all the good wishes, but here we go again.
We were at the hospital just after 7am as planned. Showed them my bites, but of course no one could say either way until Mr. Mostofi saw them. Saw just about everyone else before he arrived at 9am. He had a good look and said on balance he was happy to proceed and I would be first on the list. A little while late a nurse arrived to say the list had been juggled as the op before me was much smaller and therefore quicker so I was now second. So we sat and waited, must admit as time went on I did wonder, been there before.
Just before 11am they explained I was being postponed, Apparently they had a trauma patient who needed a radiographer. I need one too so of course the trauma patient had to come first. I'm rescheduled for 9th Oct. and yes I am a bit disappointed, but looking on the bright side, it does give my bites time to heal.
We're finally home and having a very late brekkie, we were up so early, I couldn't eat anything and Ed didn't fancy food so we were both starving!! I'd cancelled my Tesco delivery due this afternoon so when we've finished eating we'll pop out for a few bits. Not sure what I'll be doing for dinner, we had our usual Monday food yesterday.
