Morning all

Had a better night, took some amitriptyline
and went out like a light.

Difficult day yesterday, the blockers have worn off completely and the pain is off the chart, horrid. The head nurse is going to see if I can be written up for stronger psin killers.

Expecting physio this morning plus the occupational therapist to check I have enough equipment at home. I couldn't do more than a few steps with the gutter frame so unless I can do more today I won't be going anywhere soon. They've already said it definitely won't be before tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning everyone

Oh dear Jen, not the best of news for you, better to stay where you are for a couple more days and get some stronger pain relief xx

Warmer this morning, although more rain last night :Hi: Molly came in looking like a drowned rat

Off to Ourique this morning, a lot of sorting things out, car/house insurances, motorway tolls - a huge hike up to the post office  and then see Fatima, then the supermarkets and chemist. And other stuff I've probably forgotten about

Pit stop for coffee on the way back and no idea what we'll be doing later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're oding xx

Good morning all

Jen, whilst hospitals may not be the best place for peace and quiet, at the moment it is the best place for you until they get your pain under control and hopefully up and "walking" more than just a few steps.... sending (((hugs))) because I suspect all you want to do is get home to your own bed and home x

Ally, ooh very nice temperature! Enjoy the day
Jan, hope you manage to get all the bits and bobs done. How is Mitch? Good news re the rain - and am curious; you know that dam you took me to, is that any fuller?
Saundra, with this weather, if you don't need to get up then enjoy the lie in ;-)

Work from home day for me so the usual mix of work and pootling. Charlies funeral yesterday was lovely ( - so so many people. A neighbour commented that he thought it odd that not more people were on the kerbside of our close as the hearse drove round; turns out they weren't at the kerb because they were all at the crematorium!

have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s a nice enough morning with amazing cloud formations. We are up early as the plumber is due. I had a very bad night as my hip was paining me. I’ve lots of ironing to do today, want to get it out of the way and I also need to get my prescriptions, so I’ll do that later. This is my last totally free day before the weekend so I’d better get on with things. We didn’t watch Bake Off last night as United were playing, so we’ll watch it later, I’ve been carefully avoiding seeing who was sent home.

Glad to hear you had a better night, Jen, and it’s good to know they won’t let you home until they are happy you can manage.

Mornng all.
Jen, I hope the new painkillers come soon x
Ally that's a perfect temperature. Jan, that poor cat! Ours never liked the rain. Enjoy the lie in Saundra. Make the most of the WFH Ria and get stuck into the ironing Osc!
Off to do a bit of shopping soon. A simple tea of scrambled eggs tonight and running mrsC and her sis to our son's and the library later.
Our daughter's car (Nissan Qashqai) is playing up, it won't unlock the doors and the child seat is inside it. That car has always had a few niggles and I thought they were supposed to be reliable.
have a nice day everyone.

My bestie Jackie had nothing but problems with her Qashqai Crommers and was really disappointed after buying it being highly recommended.

The doors were a major issue with not unlocking....until the time they conveniently did for a car thief!
From her front drive as she was feeding Martin upstairs. :o

It does sound like there is an issue with them Ally.

I've just driven past a tanning salon and there was an ambulance parked outside; I hope one of their customers hasn't had ten minutes too long and come out a bit crispy! :o :o

Jen, I hope the pain killers kick in sharpish and that you can get some relief and a decent night's sleep. Don't try to get up and about in the shortes time, take it easy, it works best in the long run.

Ah, Japanese cars! I have had two and friends and family have also had loads - Nissans, Toyotas and Hondas. What we have all found is that around this time of year and late winter / early spring when the humidity is high the windows mist up and take ages to clear, even with the fan on gale force 10. :o

Aircon clears them quickly, if you have it.
