Afternoon all :D

Got home yesterday late afternoon.

Had a really good night, didn't wake up till 8.15, never made it past 6am in hospital. It will take a few days to get our new routine working smoothly. Didn't get round to brekkie until gone 11, such a palaver. Doesn't help the transport peeps wouldn't carry the gutter frame so transferring from one thing to another using one leg is a trial, thankfully we have a walker from Ed's recent op, but it's really difficult. Bless him, he's brilliant, today is the first time I've had a proper wash!! Feeling a bit emotional, my ankle is very sore so I'm taking strong painkillers which probably doesn't help my mood.

Have had lovely phone calls and my neighbour has been in with flowers.

Hope you are all having good day xx

Take it easy. One step at a time. Don't rush, we will still be here tomorrow.

If you were closer I would help.

Oh Jen... glad you're home; but why on earth wouldn't the transport company get you home with the frame if you need it? That's just so daft.... can you get one from somewhere else?

Slightly off topic but my friend Emma is having trouble getting the NHS to take back her mum’s (hardly used) mobility aids - they don’t seem to want them :? Such a waste! :(
