My new Dr Martens.

When it got snowy and icy the other week I ordered a couple of pairs of Docs, and I am so glad that I did. They are superb on snow and ice and ever so comfortable.

The other day I was at the bus stop and people were stamping their feet to keep them warm while I just stood there with cosy warm toes.

They are not cheap by any means, but they will last forever. My boots from the 1970s are still going strong but they are more suited to country hikes than around the streets or visits to town.

Joe bought Amanda a pair last Christmas and she loves them, said they took some breaking in at first but they’re brilliant now.

I always fancied a pair, always used to get laughed at by my mom and sister for not wanting dainty footwear
I’m hoping that when the Macarthur Glen outlet village down the road expands we’ll get a DM outlet shop.
