Hot (temperature wise) crisps.

Apparently young people have "discovered" Hot Crisps.

Discovered? We were making them about 40 years ago, or more. Seabrook's crinkle cut plain crisps were the favourite base. They were thick and had ridges....

Spread out a big family bag on a baking tray. Grate on an ample sufficiency of cheddar and give a good dusting of parmesan - a GOOD dusting. Top off with a sprinkle of paprika and pepper and bung in a hot oven till the cheeses bubble and start to brown.

There's nowt new under t' sun. ;)

It was a late night thing after a few beers, Saundra - long before Pizza Hut and nachos.

Come home, bung them in the oven - nibble and drink, do a bit of soul, ska, reggae.
