Good morning Ally and anyboy else who is up.

Have to make a couple of phone cals before I go out. I am going to Chorley again for food shopping. Will go into Booth's. It is known asthe Waitrose of the North.

It is very good and better than the main supermarkets.

Back home I will just be pootling.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

A bit of a late start for us, but it's now a lovely, sunny morning and quite warm outside 8-)

Cleaning for me this morning and as there is no wind, I'll head down to the field and finish it all off. Piles of stuff ready to burn next week, hopefully.

Think Grumpy will be heading down to the veggie garden, for some much needed weeding.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a pleasant enough day here. Mobility class this morning and then I want to go to the nearest supermarket - they have a particular kind of ham that Tesco doesn’t stock, which Edward wants to cook for Christmas dinner, also a couple of other bits. I’ve woken up with a badly bloodshot eye, no idea what caused it, it’s not pretty! What with my dodgy back and my sore knee that has woken me up the last couple of nights, I am gradually falling apart  :o I’m giving Edward a lift to the golf club so we are leaving a bit early. This afternoon, I’ll be ironing, changing the bed and waiting for our Tesco delivery. No dancing tonight.

Good morning all and happy Friday

Friday WFH day for me - yay! Three days in the office; two of which ended with after work drinks so late nights; and yesterday a late(ish) one as I went food shopping after work instead of early this morning. The house is a tip so today will be spent working / cleaning

Not much else exciting to report

have a lovely day all and enjoy all the bits and bobs you're up to xxx

Good morning.
We are waiting for a man to come and measure up for a bedroom carpet.
After that we need to do the weekend shop.
Another December day here; grey and damp.
We have had Roy the roofer around to clear out the guttering. He's about 78 and still working. He fell off a roof this year and his wife told him to stop working but he hasn't. Only charged us £30 as well.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :)

Sunny, but very cold

Enjoy your walk Ally.
Have a good shopping trip Cruiser.

I know that feeling only too well Osc xx
Happy cleaning Ria.
Well done Roy the roofer, that was a very good price Crommers.

I'm now moving about with the crutches, not easy but less hard on my arms than the walking frame. The shape of the boot's sole makes me very unstable, it's also very uncomfortable to wear so I can't keep it on for long. It's on/off every time I shuffle to the loo. Movement is still very painful, think I overdid it a bit yesterday, was really sore by the time we went to bed. I hope the physio bod due to visit next week can ease my mind, am I doing enough or too much and even more important, will I cause problems if I overdo it and so on. :?

Usual Friday wash day for poor Ed. We're also expecting an order from Sainsbury's later this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s been dull but dry here so I’ll take that.

It’s Bill’s 12th birthday today, he loves his present which is a new Kong fluffy toy, so much so that when John went to take him for a walk on the common he insisted on taking it with him

My cold feels a lot better today thankfully. John’s off today as he has holiday to use up so after the Tesco delivery came we went Christmas shopping in Stafford and then had lunch in Wetherspoons. Tonight we’re going to call into the MacArthur Glen outlet village down the road. I bought Tom some Body Shop cologne so I want to see if I can get some shower gel to go with it, Joe likes the running socks from Under Armour so I’ll get him some of those and I need to pay Yankee Candles a visit. I do love a candle.

We were supposed to be going to the Odeon tonight to see Die Hard but have cancelled, I didn’t want to be the annoying person coughing their way through it

Enjoy the rest of the day all x

Afternoon everyone :)

Friday stuff here - SW first thing ( ) then a bite in the Quays with the mister, round to D's then home. Must redo my nails tonight 8-)

Becky has had her last day at work, she took Fraggle in by request - he was thoroughly spoiled, and B had a few little gifts and cards. She's loved that job, so has mixed feelings tonight - sad to be leaving, but very excited for the adventure to come.I

Love to all xxx
