Driving over to Torremolinos to have a look at their Christmas display and also pop into Dealz for some cheeky chocolate treats.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sun is melting the light frost and another lovely day. Although I think the washing will freeze on the line before it dries

Off to Ourique soon, get the last of the shopping done. Meeting a friend as she wants to give us a present. Which is very kind of her, but this will be the first one in eight years

Back fir breakfast and I'll make a curry for Saturday. We'd normally have a curry on Christmas Eve, but as it's Sunday this year, w'll have a bbq instead 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s very dreary here and was extremely windy all night. We are going to dance practice this morning and having a little Christmas party afterwards, so Kellie will go to Miss Osc’s office after school for about an hour until we get home - the benefits of living within walking distance of the school, our house and the office. Don’t know if Michael will be here for dinner but he is “in the pot” if he decides to come.

Morning all; it is blowing a gale here.
MrsC is at our son's doing a spot of housework for him. I have been to pay various bills and got a few bits and bobs.
We are still short of a few items so we may go out this afternoon and see what we can get.
I wish the shops were empty round here Jan!
They always say that they are empty on Christmas Eve afternoon but I never have the nerve to leave things so late.
Have a nice day everyone.

Good morning everybody.

Have not checked the temperature this morning. It was rining when I left home but very windy. The rain has stopped but still lots of grey clouds
I was up early to go to Chorleyin the car so I could get a parking spot near the market. Use my Blue badge pass
I was not the first one on or in M & S. Have also got some cheese. Had to wait in a queue for several minutes to be served. Chatted to other customers while
I waited. I also got meat from the butchers which I had ordered. Got enough to last till next year. It includes a lamb shank. Also got some fish.

Also called to collect my prescription, Again a queue and I had to wait to be served. Will just be pottering for the rest of the day. Am waiting for a parcel from
John Lewis to be delivered. They said three to five days when I placed the order.

Ally, when I was younger, we stayed in Belamadina and walked along the prom into Torrelominos.. Did stop to have a drink at one of the many bars. Bought my wife
a lovely leather coat from one of the shops.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s a tad breezy out there!

I walked Bill first thing and we had to re-route a couple of times due to paths being closed for tree felling. Bill was most put out that he couldn’t walk along the paths where he wanted to but he did get a big fuss off the Forestry Commission man.

Joe’s working from home today and John finishes work at 12.30 until January so once he’s home we’re going to walk around to the hotel bar down the lane for lunch.

Wonka was good last night, Hugh Grant was fantastic as an Oompa Loompa

Have a good day all :D

Afternoon all :)

The sun's been trying, without much success,to come out all day.

Tesco arrived an hour early so that's all sorted and put away. Expecting physio to arrive shortly. Not sure what she'll be saying or doing, this is the visit supposed to be done during my first 6 weeks wearing the cast. Still waiting for the referral for a hospital visit to physio during my 6 weeks wearing the boot. That will probably not turn up until I've seen the consultant on 15th December. Honestly I don't know how people on their own with no home help manage. It does make me wonder if the 25% failure figure for people who have this operation is due to poor or lack of after care!!

No other plans, doubt I'll feel like doing much after she's finished, I'm still extra sore today.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all :)

Happy haircut day, Al - I'm growing my layers out a bit, so have gone from 6-weekly to 8 xx

That is kind, Jan :) xx

So nice to live near your grandchildren, Osc xx

Crommers, Christmas Eve is leaving things a bit close to the wire, Crommers, I agree  xx

Glad you got all that done, Cruiser xx

I had heard that about Hugh Grant, Jo, I think he's great at comedy xx

I suspect you're right about those failure statistics, Jen, sadly xx

It's been a busy day here. An early call to D, to check on her. The pain in her side she's had for a day or two is pleurisy, but the doc said painkillers and rest should sort it out. Mick took me shopping to Tesco, where it was busy!!! Picked up our prescriptions, then did the big Christmas food shop - apart from the fresh turkey, gammon etc that I have on click&collect from Sainsbury's for Sunday - yikes!!

Straight round to D's afterwards where P and M, my other BIL and his wife had arrived to see D. M had brought fresh homemade soup for lunch, and I took mince pies so D didn't have to do a thing. We stayed a couple of hours, then came home, unpacked the food which had been in cold bags in the car, and finally got some quiet time  Pilates tonight, not easy on a run full of mincey spies

Love to all xxx
