Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 19 Jan 2024, 06:44

Good morning.

Showery at the moment but due to stop at 9am. More please!!!!

It's our local Saint's Day tomorrow (San Sebastián,) and all the shops will be closed so that the Spanish can do that thing they're great at....partying  so we'll get some food shopping done today.
It wouldn't do to run out of my favourite Mercadona chilli and lime crisps.

Friday beers and tapas tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning all :)

No, that certainly wouldn’t do, Al! :D xx

Another frosty morning here! Up early to get ready for my meeting. Will be round at my friend Em’s for a cuppa afterwards for us to either celebrate or commiserate depending on the scales   Out for brunch with Mick after that, then round to D’s. Hopefully D will be feeling better today, some VV vibes would be very much appreciated.

Heard from B, she’s in Canberra now, minding Otto, who is a gentle giant of a dog :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning everybody.

It was a cooll 9C when I got up with a light dusting of snow again. It is now 12C with the CH on. There is lots of blue sky with a few grey clouds.
M61 near here is down to one lane due toan accident. Some people will be late for work/school.

Was planning to go to Chorley. Wil se what it is like in an hour when I have to go and catch the bus.

Ally,Ihave ben in Sp[ain on holiday when there have been festivals. Enjoyed watching all the displays.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, another sunny and very frosty one here, although I think we are back to wet and miserable over the weekend. I have my mobility class this morning, one of my gym friends has joined the same class and has offered to drive today. We’ll be going dancing tonight. The golf course is still closed due to frost so Edward is having a pottering around sort of day.

Hello and good morning all
Fingers crossed you got more rain Ally! And agree - cannot be running out of crisps!
Sending loads of vibes for D, Kaz; hope she's feeling better soon. Enjoy the brunch with Mick and glad B's having a good time
Cruiser, your house is really really cold - wow! Fingers crossed the weather clears enough for you to get to Chorley
Jan, enjoy the lunch!
Saundra keep warm
Osc, have fun at mobility class and enjoy the dancing tonight

Same as quite a few on this board, very cold again today; and same as Osc, looking set to be wet and windy and warmer as of tomorrow. The usual Friday WFH for me today; about to pop out to get the usual bits from Sainsbury's and then out this evening with Nadine; she's going to a networking event for her work and asked if I'd tag along to keep her company.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny, but very cold brrrr

Hope D is feeling better today Kaz xx

My physio appointment is at 1.30 so not too much rushing around, we've just had brekkie. Not really looking forward to it, not just because I'm sore, but looking out of the window going outside isn't too inviting. Our lovely neighbour Dave has offered to get me there, the pair of them have been so kind, we'd like to take them out for lunch when I'm walking a bit better.

No other plans, expect I'll be feeling a bit sorry for myself when we get back and will want to put my foot up. Honestly, I'm turning into a right misery!!

Hope you all have a good day, stay warm xx
