Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 22 Jan 2024, 06:42

Good morning.

A pleasant day forecast weather wise.

Picking a friend up very shortly to take her to the centro salude. Her Spanish isn't good enough (her words) to understand medical matters so I'm going along to translate.
We'll go for coffee and a pitufo when done.

A few things planned this afternoon.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and everyone

That's good of you Ally, it'll be so much easier for your friend to have you along; just in case. Enjoy the coffee after and hope all the planned bits this afternoon happen :D

WFH day for me; thankfully no damage in the garden, just a few things that have blown to places they shouldn't be, but easy to pick up and put back. The usual Sainsbury's run at some point this morning and then have a friend popping in for coffee around 3ish so need to whizz round with the vacuum cleaner before then. Nothing much exciting to report.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Sunny and will be warm later.

Grumpy being an arsonist this morning  We have permission to burn our garden rubbish and we also have been given permission for tomorrow, so if he runs out of steam today, he can finish off tomorrow.

He'll be far enough away for me not to worry about the washing ;)

Hope you get good news re the viewings Kaz xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Still lots of grey clouds but no rain at the moment. It was 14C when I got up. The wind seems to have dropped. Tres are just swaying gently.
Will be ironing this morning. Did washing yesterday and it is dry enoughto iron.

Will do some hoisework this afternoon to keep warm. It has said on the new that part of the NW is without electricity. It must be the remote area
where there are overhead cables.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning all.
You are a good friend to have Ally.
A windy night last night. Every one of the barriers erected by the men digging the paths up was blown over.
Quite calm this morning, though the breeze is v. chilly.
off to Saisbury's in a bit.
I have tried abain to set up my on-line gas account but failed. The message"We are having technical difficulties" keeps coming up. Ho hum.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, sun, cloud and normal winds here today, the worst of the storm seemed to pass us by. Edward has gone to play golf for the first time in a week, and I’ll be off to mobility class soon. I did most of the ironing yesterday, just some bedding left, and I may or may not clean the bathrooms - there’s always tomorrow!

Good luck with the viewing, Kaz!

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine and a tiny bit warmer here, no frost.

The wind was howling last night and there was a lot of banging, was worried to look out this morning. Lucky our garden furniture is really solid so doesn't move, but the fence at the back is a worry. We really will have to get it fixed, but thank goodness not today.

Managed a lot better this morning, it always takes a couple of days to get a good routine going. Not much happening, we're expecting a Tesco delivery between 12-1 and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

And he wonders why I call him Grumpy

He came stomping back up from the field earlier, as everything is so wet and he couldn't get the bonfire going

He's just gone back down, as it's really quite hot out there, with some kindling, newspaper and firelighters.
