Well, this is a first for me.

Up early because of the wind blowing at 35 mph and driving the torrential rain against the windows. Goodness knows what the gusts were. It looks as though the rain is set for the rest of the morning.

With that I will not be doing much. I'll wait till this afternoon for the shopping.

Have a good day all, and keep yer hand on yer 'at.

Itwas 14C when i got up and it is getting warmer. Some blue sky but lots of grey clouds but no rain.

Wating fot a joner to come. He is going to fix the loft ladder. It is sticking when I try to getit up or down. May need new hinges.
Nothing wrong with the ladder

Morning everyone

Sunny, cool at the moment and a record breaking 24C later.

Grumpy still on the injured list, so I-ve been running around, being nurse.

Washing is now out and we-ll / or maybe just me / will head into Ourique for the shopping later.

Have a good day everyone, stay warm and safe over there xx

Morning all, it’s dull and dreary here but dry. Absolutely no plan for the day except go to the post office and take out some money. Edward wants to practice some dances. I might waft a duster around. I think we are going to dance class tonight.

Good afternoon.
It was blowing a gale last night and is still windy now.
We had the windows cleaned yesterday, which was a waste of money as they are now dirty again.
MrsC is at our son's house, I've tried to sort out my on-line account with British Gas; we'll see if it's been sorted tomorrow.
Have a good day everyone.

What a palaver

For some reason, only part of my prescription came through on my phone last week. The most important bit  I didn't know that until I went to collect it this morning. No idea where it was, Paula couldn't remember if she'd rung it through or not

As I also get an e-mail, we came home, and I forwarded it to Chris, as she has a printer. Nope, only one part has come through  So off I go, with trusty laptop to try and get it sorted. My laptop is getting on a bit now  so Chris got her tablet up and running a lot quicker and we printed the bit off that I needed.

Off to the chemist. Got there and was told that the number at the top was incomplete, so she couldn't process it. I almost cried when I got into the car.

Back to Chris and asked her to make sure that the whole thing was printed, which I now have :Hi:

As we said, when things go wrong here, it takes such a time to get it sorted.

So we're going back to the chemist this afternoon and then meeting Chris and Lucy at the bar

And it's flip flop weather
