My feet get stuck out ;)

We have a sheet, blanket and a very thin bedspread, which is so warm, we don't need anything else, even when it gets really cold, down to 4C outside.

We had a duvet in England, but I tended to end up with not a lot on me, as some-one would nick it.

I've often thought of doing how the northern bods do it - separate duvets.

The "eiderdown" has just arrived so tomorrow I will be making the bed the old way.

I'll be snug as a bug in a rug.

We have a double bed but I always buy king size duvets and king size bedding, the weight of the overhang is enough to keep it in place for us!

I use king size bedding on a double bed because no bedding seems to be a standard for these days

I sleep in a double bed. I was finding that I kept losing the double sheet.
So lastyearI bought two king size sheets. What a difference. One side always stays stuck in underthe mattress. There is always plenty
on the side Iget in. It nearly touches the floor. Have since bougt two more. One on, one in the wsh and two clean.

I have two duvets. They are only summer ones but are keeping me warm in the cold weather.

I don't have the CH on at night.

Cruiser, that is what I am going to do.

A big sheet then one blanket lengthwise then one across with everything tucked in, then the eiderdown then a counterpane / bedspread.

As it gets warmer I will remove things so that in summer it will just be a sheet and bedspread - or nothing.

That sounded like a challenge so I burned a few braincells on this.

Ebay search string.

wool "blankets" "blanket" -throw -throws -under -fleece -knitting -yarn -knit

Check new and you get new blankets. Yes a bit more scrolling but no throws, few balls of wool, no fleeces, just wool blankets. Yes you get the occasional wool mix but mostly it's just wool blankets.

More than enough to scroll through though.
