Two items reported this week.

In one case notis of proposede development for a new warehouse sent to the residents of the wrong street. This was in Corby.

In the second case a house has been built with a lamp post in the pavement through part of the guttering at the front.

What is happenning to planning approval. One reply from one council" It meets Statutay Regulations"

There have been some classics....

New road signs with spelling mistakes and directions pointing the wrong way. Double yellow lines painted round parked cars... and a street in Leeds with One Way signs at each end. If you approached from on end it was one way only, but if you approached from the other end it was also one way only.

Common sense and quality control have gone out of the window. :o

There’s a series of very sharp bends on one stretch of road on Cannock Chase, on one side is quite a steep drop. The warning sign shows the first bend as being to the left, in reality the road bends to the right and there have been a number of accidents on this stretch yet the sign has never been corrected.
